Fine body rattle stood parallel to the F-15 burners being introduced on takeoff. Always a great fix of jet noise watching the USAF fighter jets at RAF Lakenheath.

I’m an aerospace engineer and an avgeek with 15 years of my career spent with jet engines and it wasn’t until a few months ago that I realized the Eagle’s intake leading edge door doohickeys had variable pitch 😅😅. And yes, that’s the technical term.
