Elden ring pvp is the Skyrim of souls games pvp. I am constantly complaining about how bad it is, how it’s not fun to play and how nearly every part of it is worse then previous iterations, and yet I have more then a thousand hours in it.
I have like 40 days in it but that's because I accidentally leave my game running while I'm doing other things like cooking or being a contributing member to society 🙃
Hope it gets a little love in a patch, quite hard to use even in PVE. Was very excited when i got it in my first playthrough but i ended up binning it because it simply wasn't hitting anything. I feel like the moveset is not at all considering low-profile enemies like slimes, dogs, and vulgar militia... A lot of my swings just go over them and the vertical tracking on the animation doesn't aim low enough to compensate 🙁
A comment about the Reinforced Club on the DS3 wiki, "Thing has the same stun value as a greatsword while being the speed of a straight sword and having the hyperarmor of a hammer". We also have Katana hitstun Daggers if you're into that kind of thing
Wish I could get accurate hitboxes like that. Although that range is pretty pitiful, and the fact that it's slower than other curved swords makes it even worse
HOW ARE THOSE EVEN LIGHTS???? it would need to have like super fast chargable heavies to justify that, so that its part of its mixups or range of attack timings in pve
@@illidank996 well they're r1, l1 is either weapon art or block (i remember swapping them so im not sure) but heavies can only chain once while lights can chain four times, and he says theyre lights in the description
This weapon needs a serious overhaul on the moveset. It's like they didn't even try to make one... just slap on this horizontal spinning slash and repeat x4. Weapon good, very nice!
Would love in the dlc if there was a new weapon modification called "styles" since there are so many weapons in the same weapon class with different animations. You can interchange movesets from certain weapons to another. For example, using the default curved greatsword style on this sword

why is my favorite weapon under slander again xD Fr tho i get its not for everyone and it does have really short range but i absolutely fell in love with the weapon and zamor armor as well. The ice storm shreds poise and i just love the playstyle, also a lot of people tend to say the attack animations look goofy but i love the twirls

low latency moment* Phantom reach would've added an additional meter or two of range. I know this because with my internet I regularly take hits from weapons while about two whole meters away from the actual blade :(
Glad to know this stupid weapon is getting attention for this. I was so happy when I got it because it looks nice and the frost aoe is pretty cool. Then I went up against a pair of dogs with this and I almost got wrecked because the wind up is so god damn slow even for light attacks. Makes it useless for pvp and pve both
I thought the motion values increase on each subsequent r1 to compensate as well as cheaper stamina cost. Certainly doesn't make it amazing or anything, but still interesting enough to play with.
This is the first weapon I fully upgraded in my first playthrough. You see? The Ash Of War was very useful to deal with multiple enemies and stunlock/freeze big enemies.... And yet........... I still regretted it. What a d*ck move From Software, to give such a horrible moveset to a horribly short and heavy weapon. Blegh🤮
it was my first fully upgraded weapon too! Altho i loved it! still do hah, its one of my favorite weapons after a few playthroughs, i just wish it had a bit more range tho, i agree with that

@@alafosca5724 i never was much for PVP, but it is actually a really great weapon in PVE! Its helped me beat placidusax, it made maliketh a PUSHOVER, literally a few jump attacks and a blizzard or two and i first tried him lmaoo. It just breaks poise so easily

I remember pairing it with Bloodhound Fang or whatever it was called, andI could frostbite and bleed, break poise and deal absurd amounts of damage... If only it had some potential for PvP... But I guess you can still kinda make it work if you want... But yeah, as for PcE no complaints! It was worth it after all, I think

@@draxxilion5957 Considering we can already download all kinds of flashy weapon movesets for pc Elden Ring, I don't think it's far fetched at all to ask From to show that they are competent enough to make practical and unique weapon movesets.
@@ghoulishgoober3122 They dropped the ball on this one but that does not mean that you need to put a blanket term for the entire development; most unique movesets are pretty cool or good, this just can't be saved. And let's be real here, if the only reason anyone would use the Zamor curved sword even if it had a normal curved sword moveset would be for cosplay purposes. It's too short to be any good. I do think it should've been a curved sword instead of a great curved sword, but it's not my decision and it's only one weapon so I really don't care. The Shamshir does me perfectly well enough for that "curved sword dance blade" feel. And as a side, I wouldn't bring up the moveset mods as most of them make the player extremely overpowered, and a good deal conflict with the vision the game has (Sekiro deflecting has no purpose in Elden Ring, and don't you dare say Malenia is a Sekiro boss)
Pretty funny, but if we're being honest this is an issue in the game in general. Maybe you can't just walk away slowly from most attacks, but you can simply move the opposite direction of someone and just roll their very readable attacks which an issue for pretty much all weapons. There's pretty much no counterplay to anyone that doesn't want to engage your melee weapon setup.
