    This is a great film. I used to stay at a place called "Journey's End" in the only street
    in Crookhaven with my parents in the 60's. There was Sean Flynn and Mister Nottage.
    Both focal points in village life. I'm sure I saw a relation Timmy finishing a pint in the
    pub. The past is another country, but this was magic.

    Ah it was fascinating looking at the faces and trying to recall the names Sonny Sean and Joe Barry (RIP) to them all. This painted a picture of no hope or future but how wrong it was. Resilient people who strove for their village and brought in to the new century with pride and dignity!

      My mom was doing the same when we first watched this. She was O Regan from Corleacka. She is O Connell since she married in 1974.
