Liked and subscribed brother. Got two of those XLR chassis, absolutely loving them. 7mm prc 6.5 prc Going to get one for a 300 prc next. Maybe a 308 too.
Beautiful setup. I have Howa M1500 6.5CM with a 16.25” heavy barrel threaded and I been looking to switch out the original hogue stock for a chassis. Glad I came across this video because I also been looking into the xlr element 4.0 chassis for awhile now but had no idea how it would look like. Now I’m full sending it 👍👍.
Nice gun bro. Been looking at building the same thing, but in your buddy's caliber, 6mm arc. I have a Sgt of Arms AR-15 in that caliber, and love it! It's an absolute hammer of a round! Good video
Do you feel like that mdt grip is good for big hands? Like doesn’t actually move further back than regular ones. This is the exact build I’m looking at but camo
@@Davis18361 it’s nice and bulky. It has a good amount of travel back. I just had to get used to the way it placed my wrist. It’s an all around good grip.
I went with this over the envy because the envy is aimed more towards competition than hunting. The element is good for both. I really liked that the element dosent have an exposed mag release. The envy does. I also believe but not to sure the envy is a little longer.
@@The_Texas_Rigged_Life Yes it is, the Envy is 2-3 Inches longer. That is my issues I want to get the Treminus Zues action (quick change) and possibly get a shorter barrel to swap on and the Envy seems to be JUST a bit too long. Both are great, I think XLR makes the nicest chassis on the market. Highly opinonated....opinion lol but they are amazing. Congrats hope you enjoy.
@@The_Texas_Rigged_Life take a look at the 6MM ARC you won't be disappointed. No kick effective out to 800 yards plus. Effective hunting deer out to 480 yards. It was designed toe replace the 5.56 or .223. My Thermal pig shots in my videos is with the 6 ARC at 75 yards.
@@stevesoulfish5007 oh I have. I could not find an action I liked for it. There are a lot of ar style platforms but not much bolt action. Do you know of any good actions for it?
@@The_Texas_Rigged_Life I started with a Savage 110 Switchback 6mm ARC Black/Olive Drab Bolt Action Rifle - 22in. Then added a MDT Chassis, ELF Trigger and Thermal. It's heavy but shoots like a great. Savage has crappy mags and triggers. But once you replace them it's a decent gun.

Sweet! It will look and feel great in this chassis. Send a pic when you set it up.
Que lindo quedo ese rifle…. Espectacular!!!
Gracias. Me encanta este rifle.

I think 2024 might be the year of the 6mm arc
Nice rifle. Is your rifle light enough to attach a sling and carry on you like an AR15 through the woods and mountains for hunting?
Oh yes!!! Even with a suppressor

Alamo moved down the road to N. Richland Hills. The do great work but they’re proud of it!
Is the color OD Green?
Yes it is

@@KevinWood44 sounds like you should go with the element. Having a shorter rifle is the main thing for me.
Did you get the short buttstock or long?

nice gun, not a fan of the little round
@@stevesoulfish5007 Thanks. Eventually I will build one with a bigger round

An average adult can assemble that..
