The Star Union during and after it's existence sounds a lot like the Golden Age of Technology, Dark Age of Humanity, and Rise of the Imperium of Man from the 40k universe. The Psionics, the Void storms, the collapse and scattering of human colonies, and now the imminent wars to unify the colonies again. All we need is the Emperor in his golden armor, wielding his flaming sword, and his 18 sons commanding their legions and we have the Great Crusade.
18 sons... they never talk about the other two legions or their primarchs... what are you trying to accomplish with those heretical words brother, you don't want the Emperor's most holly inquisition to come and take your head away with them as a servo skull... be careful... ;)

@@TricksterPoi I'm currently five missions deep into the Planetfall campaign, but I'm not sure it's quite accurate to label the Psynumbra as either Chaos or Sith: Chaos is fuelled by extremes of emotion, while the Sith embrace anger and hatred. The Psynumbra, on the other hand, are explicitly linked to the emotion of despair: specifically, because the powers of the Psynumbra are derived from the void, it seems to be sense of being exposed to the vastness of the universe and the sudden awareness of the degree of your own insignificance - which is why Psynumbra powers are more often to do with psychologically cracking one's opponents rather than directly killing them.

@War Never Changes Basically the SCP Foundation is a clandestine organization that operates in secret in order to protect the society of mankind from anomalous threats. They secure and contain all anomalous entities from the public and protect humanity from utter destruction. This would become their scared motto of *Secure, Contain, and Protect*. The SCP Foundation operates around the globe in a strict operational security manner. They receive an unlimited amount of resources and assets from many of the worlds' national governments. By utilizing their resources and influence, they're able to combat countless anomalous entities and successfully capture them before the public finds out. The captured anomalous entities would be transported in many of their facilities and sites that are built around the world, from then they'll be classified, researched, and permanently contained. People who are employed in the Foundation knows the risk of this unprecedented field of work. Whether he or she is a Researcher, Security Agent, or a Mobile Task Operative, they all die in the dark so the innocent may live in the light. *"We Secure. We Contain. We Protect."*

This video was good, but I'm troubled at the precedent being set here. Can anyone now buy a Templin Institute investigation? And would these ads ever influence the content of such videos?
I can understand your unease, however, we are very selective with our sponsorships. We've received a few requests to cover other unknown properties that we've turned down because our priority is releasing a video that our audience will enjoy. Given how popular Paradox games are with our audience, it seemed like a natural fit. As for the content being influenced, it wouldn't be fair to say that we didn't get something out of this partnership with Paradox. We were given some information about the lore that isn't publicly available, so if anything, the content was improved and deepened because of it. We still intend to hold ourselves to the same high standard we set when we first started. I hope that sets your fears to rest and thank you for your support!
