So your writing journal is like a commonplace notebook I guess? I totally understand that new notebook joy! 💕

Love the idea of the coffee rings. It will definitely make me want to write in it more instead of collecting blank notebooks just to look at. Thanks Helen

"I can be a little too precious with my new notebook" - I am very much the same way! What a good idea messing it up in that way (it is quite a charming way to "mess" it up though. 🙂) Also that it is the cutest little coffee cup!

I like how you approach your notebook with no pressure, yet a nice artistic way of adding your information. You have given me thoughts for my journal! Thank you.❤

I love these videos. I admit that I haven’t even started a journal this year. I love how you go about yours.

What would I do without my journal. I love your idea of the coffee rings and the ritual of making it yours and not too precious. Love the artist way, did it twice many years ago. I should remember which friend I lent it to!

I have a couple of Emshoi notebooks, they're great value, an excellent alternative to Leuchtturm.

Where did you get the brown paper from as well a washi tape?! Do you know where "blank journals' are available?!. I also wanted to ask if you've ever dealt with washi tape that had strong unpleasant smells..

I get most of my stuff from amazon. They have blank journals and search kraft paper for the brown paper. Never had unpleasant smells from washi tape, fortunately!
