- MJ and Denny Hamlin congratulated their driver Tyler Reddick on the regular season championship after Reddick had issues during the race. Not with his car but…with his stomach. Reddick was able to get out of the care center (and his spoiled suit) to celebrate with his team

Tyler Reddick is tiny. He’s 5’2. I was shocked when I found that out. He’s the same height as Danica Patrick for reference.

as much as i dont care for hamlin, it would be cool to see jordan win a nascar championship as a team owner, and to see reddick win one as well. plus it would show jordan and hamlin the potential their team has with the right driver.

You’re right. The 23 TEAM is probably better than 25 other teams. Clear evidence being his teammate finished first in points. Problem is the driver of the 23 finished 18th of 34 drivers who competed in all 26 races. He still has 2 career wins. One more of a fluke than Burton because it was rain shortened ristrictor plate. The other was with the same car, same track, and cherry picked crew from the season Kurt won the first Kansas race then was injured.

when did they start letting dwarves drive?makes no sense.
he's 5'2.... and smaller the driver the better it is for the team. That is extra weight that they can more around the to their advantage for handling. The car has to be weighed with a full tank of fuel and the driver in it and be a minimum weight. If the driver weights 150 lbs less than an other driver, that weight can be moved around to what ever corner of the car that they want. They use lead weights bolted to the car to do that. That can really help with handling and be the difference between 1st and 2nd in a race. So him being a smaller driver is an advantage.

150 lbs that would make the other driver 300 lbs. But yes, you can bolt on weights but there's only a certain places on the car to mount them and only so much is allowed.
