If I was asked to reproduce this effect I think I am going to use double back cards. I noticed in the middle that he turns the deck upside down. With double cards, the final effect makes sense. The ace and queen part is a classic double lift technique. The act is still impressive and smooth, and I love it.
I reached the same conclusion about the use of double back cards. I think that explains the effect.
I think there are multiple versions of the face up - face down card like culling (used in Fool Us show), Dai Vermouth? (Cant remember the correct name) that needs to cut the deck to 4 packs or more, ... I guess this is an other version
he also at the very begining showed half the cards cuz the bottom ones were already in his hands, must be the double back cards

@@gloop510watch at the top right of the face up cards at about 0:08 . He is showing a filler card (3 of diamonds) followed by the ace and the queen. Then he just Drops the first few cards of his left Hand at the beginning of the shuffle. I hope this will help you
@@gloop510 when he shuffled, he just controlled them to the bottom, watch the left hand drop cards first, they are the first two on the table.
I get the card control with the ace and queen. What I can’t explain is the ending. You’re amazing.
Look really close at the point right after he 'shuffles' and interlaced the cards. He has complete deck control.

Hi Daniel, thanks for another great video. I recently got the Card College books as I know you recommend them and I was wondering, how would you recommend a beginner should progress through them? I was planning to go through them in order, but I'm not sure how much time to spend on each chapter/sleight before moving on to the next. Should I be aiming for mastery of each sleight before moving to the next chapter? Or how would you recommend knowing when it is appropriate to move on from one sleight to the next? Also, should I be aiming to learn the routines/tricks from each chapter as I go or should I just focus on understanding the sleights and then either coming back to the tricks after reading through all the volumes (or going on to other sources for tricks/routines)?
Appreciate any advice you can share!
Start on page one and go through it in order as thoroughly and carefully as you can. The tricks help you learn and understand the sleighs. There are no shortcuts. Start reading.

The top half if the deck are double backed cards with no face. The bottom half are normal playing cards. He flips Flip the deck over and shows the cards back - he never shows the deck face up. He also has 2 aces and one queen. He does a triple lift & then a double lift.

@@-dystopic- I'm a huge fan of Daniel's sleight of hand but this was one of the simplest ones, he simply controlled a random card on top,ace on second and queen on the third position from the top, then he does a double lift showing the ace at the top but it isn't, he picks the random top card and puts in between the deck, now ace is on the top,queen is on the second, again does a double lift to show the queen.

This is a gimmick on theory11 but you put a spin to it. Good trick dude
so i'm assuming the ace and queen are third and second deals with flipping and showing first then second cards but i have no idea how or when he returned the rest of the deck to normal
You're right, he does the double lift so obviously. The deck is a rigged deck. Half of the deck is double sided backs.... Half the deck is normal
@@MidNightSnowFawl nice! I never think about gaffs with someone like Daniel, who normally is a slight of hand guy. That's the secret to using gaffs, knowing how to sprinkle them in like spices...

Hmm this this is insane. Its for sure a Triumph, but i dont really see too much. The only things that i caught are reversing the deck before you showed the ace and the queen, and getting some cards for the Ace and Queen to be on the bottom.
I think you set up the deck for the Queen to be on top and palmed the cards in some way, since you clearly grabbed the Queen from the from the bottom not the middle. But how did you did the triumph itself i have no idea, i didnt spot any żartów shuffel or anything fishy.
EDIT: I have figured it out, double decked invisible deck. Very nice trick man
