Thanks for this video, I come back to it every time I forget where it is on the new trigger - so frustrating when you're on a job and it's like 'now where was that button again, oh the mode button, oh no, that doesn't work, let me find Will's video, oh, you have to press the group, then the mode button' dope! Why did anyone think that was a good idea to remove the button?
I totally agree. I hate that they removed it. It was so easy before and now it’s just unnecessarily complex.
Normally one uses the controller with at least two or three groups, i.e. with different units at the same time, but TCM only allows you to adjust for one unit at a time, if one takes the trouble to do it with each flash with each shot adjusting with each one it becomes totally impractical and we will probably get values that are not too useful since the flashes affect the values of the others which leads me to wonder how correct are the results of the Pro1 model even with a button.

This entire function is a down grade compared to previous version. I never had to choose flash I just took a shoot and pressed tcm. Now you have to do a zillion key strokes to set a multiple lighting set-up. Almost useless now and you have to guess the buttons. This is not good when you are on a job.😢
Yeah I kind of agree. The earlier one was better.
What if I'm using both AD200 and AD300 at the same time?
I would think it would work but I’m not 100% sure. Might have to test it.
Has all the Godox transmitters a TCM feater?
No just the pro triggers I believe.

I have a Ad 300 it says 360 on it
360 on the flash or TCM for the Trigger?

Whats a TCM button?

For someone who uses tcm. This is a step backwards.

It seems to be working without the TCM Button.
Set a group to TTL.
Take a photo.
Select the Group button.
Tap the Mode button to switch from TTL to M.
The power setting that was used in TTL is now a Manual power setting
