I think this recipe came out of a lunatic asylum. Why soak rice with water and yeast at the beginning? Yeast doesn't feed on rice carbs and boiling the rice kills the yeast later anyway, so you are just wasting yeast. Then she dumps a tonne of yeast in later when she adds flour. You don't need that much yeast for bread, especially when adding any sugar because the yeast will reproduce like wildfire and can lead to gastro-intestinal issues. And if you are using flour, why include rice at all? This bread has so many random ingredients and useless steps it blows my mind. Towards the middle of the video, I would not have been surprised if she started tossing in sardines, whole cucumbers or a bucket of duck blood. On a positive note, the feta, lemon, yogurt dipping sauce topped with roasted onion and garlic is not a bad idea.

I would love to use this with brown rice. I had to watch this. Never in my dreams. But if you use loaf pans. You can save so much money make about 5 loaves that will last you for a while. Thank u for showing us this .

You're right, Karen. They show putting the yeast in the cooked rice, just for show, then they hop back to rinsing the rice. Why would I rinse the rice and save the rinse water in a bowl? Just use the faucet. What kind of rice? What kind of flour? Why not give measurements using measuring cups and spoons? (in addition to weights) Who measures 1 tsp of salt using a scale? They didn't mention that you have to let the rice cool after boiling. What the heck amount is 3.4 fl oz of milk? These people should have studied a few recipe videos to see how it's done.

1. What TYPE of flour? Will it work with plain/AP or does it need to be self-raising or bread flour or strong bread flour...? 2. What TYPE of milk? Skimmed, semi-skimmed, full fat, 2%, 4%, coconut? 3. What TYPE of yeast? A recipe is only as good as the level of detail included.
