    I admire you for having the patience for taking on this teacup 3D puzzle from Robotime ! When you opened the box and I saw all the contents come out, I thought OMG. I must admit I would have run for the hills. But the end result is quite spectacular and beautiful. Congratulations on successfully completing this puzzle challenge !

    I love doing these 3D kits. I don’t always follow their instructions completely. I often substitute using glue to make it sturdier. I’ve done a Ferris wheel, a carousel, and several dollhouses. I find the quality greatly varies depending on the brand. I put them on display in the children's room of the library. The littles love looking at them.

      That's such a great idea! It must add such a charm to the library 🤩 The more I think about this experience, the more I realize that I did really enjoy it. This brand was great, and the design was so amazing. I think this has sparked a liking in me to this kind of hobby.

    Well done for completing it, albeit with a few hiccups along the way. It looked great when it was working. Not something I have any interest in at all, I prefer my puzzles flat on the table. 😄 Some of these 3D models can be quite complicated to do and require intense concentration to make. I hope you didn't get a headache doing the model. 🤕 I'm going to be doing Ravensburger's Ludicrous Library as my next puzzle.

      As for your next puzzle, that looks like it'll be quite a challenge 😵

    Great job Mandy, you did really well on completing this in around 5 hrs. The tip about folding the book so you are only looking at the section you are working on is essential as it is to easy to miss a stage otherwise.

    I'd love to see a Pomegranate comparison video soon, if at all possible!! I know you got a bunch in a recent haul before your trip to Europe and teased at the idea before. I've only ever done one of theirs before (Quest for Knowledge, which I think you actually picked up as well!!) and I'd love to get more of their brand but I'd like to hear some of your thoughts before I splurge, if at all possible ❤ thank you for the consideration and happy puzzling!!

    Great video. From the first moment seeing the box, I was "aww so cute" all the way to the end. I would not call this a "Puzzle" it seems closer to table top gaming miniatures being assembled or a miniature train. The quality looks really good.

    • @thepuzzledmandy
      @thepuzzledmandy  Месяц назад

      It is a bit confusing to me on whether these could be considered puzzles or not. A lot of websites categorize them as 3D puzzles, but you are right, they do seem a lot closer to just miniatures/models.

    So proud of you, Mandy on your success. Yes, taking your time is very important and focus. Ive watched several vids re these 3D jigsaws/models and all say the same thing. I have 1 or 2 of RoboTime's puzzles, one being the Astronomical Clock, i think....all packed up so havent looked at what i have in ages.
    Would still love to see you attack the 3D Hogwarts puzzles, one day 😀

    • @erniesulovic4734
      @erniesulovic4734 Месяц назад

      @@thepuzzledmandy I sure do have at least one if the Robo. pretty sure i mentioned it yet cant expect you or anyone to remember everything everyone says.....sugar, i dont remember what i did yesterday lol. Yeah, and you have to get the duo set which has a connecting puece where ine jigsaw has 1850 and the other 1875 pieces. From other vids ive watched, you'd be looking at re 30 hrs to put them together 😂 Living in the US, im guessing you may need a Council or Builders permit to put it together cos it is so big....3-4 feet, 2 feet tall, and re foot and a half deep.
      On a serious note, storing it could be a bit of a nightmare unless you have a room setup in the attic or spare space in the kids room or loungeroom....
      Or if that is too big yet if memory serves me correctly, you may have done one already, put together Wueen Annes Revenge ship, or they have some really nice with LED lights, Titanic re 3 feet long. 😀😀😀

    Great job Mandy! There is nothing like that moment when you switched it on and everything worked! Up until then, you just don't know for sure what you are going to get. I kind of like their pinball machine kit, but it's a 6 star difficulty rating, and I just don't think I have the patience for that! Someone made a video of doing that model, and he said to start with something easier first. I think I will just stick to regular jigsaw puzzles for now!

    • @thepuzzledmandy
      @thepuzzledmandy  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks so much! 😊 There was such an immense feeling of relief when it all worked in the end. I would've been so sad if I failed because it's so beautiful. That pinball machine kit does look amazing though. The more I think about it, i feel like the 4 star difficulty rating on this one honestly wasn't excessively hard considering it was my first time working on this brand. You might be ok, but then again, if you've never ever worked on these kind of kits before, then it can be very overwhelming.

    But is it a puzzle, really, when there is a manual included... Imagine, as an alternative, you got a such a box with no manual, and just the image to build from. To me, it is more akin to a Lego set, of wood rather than plastic. I would probably have fun doing such a set though, but I prefer building rc vehicles, or big lego sets.

    • @thepuzzledmandy
      @thepuzzledmandy  Месяц назад

      Since working on these types of things, I've learned that this tends to be quite a controversial topic 😅 But either way, these are a lot of fun and that's what matters in the end 😊 I love Lego sets!

    • @malelonewolf80
      @malelonewolf80 Месяц назад

      @@thepuzzledmandy True. And at times I feel the same question is inadvertently asked if you do not speed puzzle jigsaw puzzles, but puzzle tjem for relaxation. Like are you really puzzling if you do not speed puzzle a jigsaw puzzle. It seems to be the hype these days. I actually had a bit of fun thinking about a mock championship of speed puzzling called the slow puzzling championship. Similar rules, but the winner would be the one who spend the most time doing a puzzle. I think I would do well in such a competition with about 24 hours into a 1500 piece jigsaw puzzle only half finished. But to me, jigsaw puzzles, lego constructions, or building rc vehicles from kits are not a competition, but simply relaxation, a break from the worries of the world.
