Just do it on another device... most probably the device you are doing it on is country specific... I'm saying this because it work on the phone I bought in Dubai but when I tried on my phone bought in the US it worked and then reflected on the other phone

I have requested many times to change my origine country but it is impossibile. Only way you can get rid of is to create a new google acc to the country that you are right now.

Guys, I have the solution. Just make sure you like this comment. So, the first step is doing all that is said in this video. Next, delete your old profile and ensure only the new location profile is there. Next, close your Play Store app, delete cache and data. Then, open the app again. Voila, your Play Store will come up with your new location. I hope it helps someone!
Okay - I love this. But, what do you do if the country listed is the country you're in AND the country the app is for (local grocery shopping); with a phone and SIM bought in that country and it STILL says 'not available in this region'?
After doing some digging the solution is to just switch between gmail accounts in the play store because you have to wait one year after changing your country to change it again.
I did this, but it only added a new country to my profile. Google still doesn't recognize it as my current country and I don't see an option to delete the previous country 😕

After creating new profile and still doesn't work, delete the other profile that was there before after creating new one. Then logout and login again successfully. This work 100%
This worked but when going back into the Google play app it would still default to an unused payment profile. I had multiple payment profiles so I wasn't able to change country using this method. I deleted the other payment profiles and then it defaulted to the right country!

I did as instructed in the video, but the info/location/address stays the same whenever i go to the same settings and check that gmail. However, when i check on the playstore, my location is how its always been. I don't know how to re-login or refresh it, you should have included those steps. Going to create a new Gmail with same address deets to log into the store, and try that way.
I finally found the way. Go to the same setting part and scroll all the way down. You will see 'close the payment profile'. Close the damn things and make a NEW profile, and there you go.
Hello, I have a problem, when I enter the Google Play console the button appears to verify my ID, the problem is that I live in a different country than the country of origin of the debit card that I used to pay the $25 to use the developer account, then when it asks me for the region of my country, it appears that it is the regions of the country of my card and not the country where I am currently located, I created a new payment profile but how do I associate that new payment profile with my google play console account to allow me to verify my ID?
For people that this didn't work for you have to go back to the playstore and press your profile and then go to settings, then to the general after that click on account and device preferences and there you can select the new profile you created and then it will work.
I followed this and my country hasn't changed. Do I need to add a payment method for this to work? Edit: I added a new credit card from the new country and I still can't change the country
