I didn't enjoy the beta, it felt really lacking in features compared to MW2019. Maybe I played enough of the first game and I'm burned but there's not much excitement left for MW2, especially when all you see is ridiculous skins that break immersion, forced Battle Passes and other monetization options. I wish it was like the past COD4 or MW2 where you buy the game and that's it, maybe adding maps and weapons to keep things going but operator skins are not my thing. Maybe time will tell and the game actually becomes cool enough to try but we will see then.
Here's something... I like playing on keyboard and mouse. I literally stopped playing the new Halo because aim assist in that game (with the high ttk) means you lose 90% of the time going up against a controller. It's not as big a deal in COD when you can eliminate someone quickly so nailing every single one of your shots isn't as crucial. But, why are these game developers making aim assist so strong? Do controller players really need such strong training wheels? I think it's lame. It's annoying to even have to consider switching from what I prefer to play on to controller just to have an even playing field.

Not even mentioning the horrendous campaign that has fuck all to do with MW 2019s.

A thing I just realized is the 3rd person moshpit.. it is so good to play in third person And it definitely gave me back my love for this series it feels so different to play in third person and it's so enjoyable to actually be able to see yourself.
Yeah I agree with you. It's cool to be able to see the character model as well. This is my go to place to level my smgs and shotgun since you can peak angles with your camera without showing yourself. It feels a bit OP but it's so much fun.
Correction for 9: you can't see the attachments in the gunsmith as that just shows you attachments levelling that gun unlocks. You need to go into the weapon itself and select the sub category where the attachment would go and there it'll show you all the possible attachments. When you highlight a locked one it'll tell you which gun to unlock it on and what level it needs to be. Then if that weapon is locked you need to go into the gunsmith and highlight the locked weapon where it'll tell what prerequisite you need to unlock that weapon. It'll either be player level or achieving a certain level with another weapon. Hope this helps 👍
Have you noticed the old school Slate reflector sight that is right by the exped. 12ga sight, it does not tell you a gun to unlock OR a level to rank up to cause I'm rank 55 and it does not tell me what gun to use to unlock it? Any help?
I pre ordered the mw2 ps5 bundle and the game is amazing. The campaign is great and the multiplayer is fun, and it is graphically one of the best games I've ever seen.
Anyone struggling in the Alone mission, you can run past enemies most of the time, I completed the game on Realism after Regular, I found it was a lot easier to do it that way. Smoke grenades help big time, especially when you don’t have a lot of resources, they blind/stun the enemies, i just walk past each time 😂

I’m confused by the advice of using the co-op to unlock attachments.. you can’t really pick a loadout in that mode can you? At most you get a little “gun wall” where you can pick between a few, but not necessarily the one you need … or did I miss a way to customize your load out ?
I've heard that one thing the game doesn't tell you, is that the game can frequently crash. During multiplayer as well. This can cause your account to get permanently banned and Activision support will not help you. ("Unauthorised use of software")
Shotgun slugs really do have a long effective range. I've hit a 3 inch grouping before at 60+ yards. No idea though whether body armor would stop it or not from that distance.
Hmmmm.....interesting. I wish i still liked Call of Duty. The hype around it is fun. These videos make me want to play it. Then after 5 minutes i remember why i stopped. The unnecessary complication of how guns work and are unlocked just makes the game annoying. Im glad they yeeted stupid movement tricks that made gun fights more about knowing how to cheat the system than shoot. The other thing about Call of Duty -- if you dont get in on day one -- the players are so advanced in a week that there is little hope of ever catching up. Raven killed Verdansk, to bring Caldera to promote VG. RavenSoftware killed Snipers Headshots. RavenSoftware didn't fix glitches that's been out there since Oct 2020. Raven couldn't add Verdansk back because of "30 GB Verdansk files" but they could add a KingKong update for 47GB. Raven has ruined every feature and everything they've touched. They will kill Warzone2 too. RavenSoftware made snipers like Rytec & M82 (SLOWEST in past 8 years COD History) require 3 Headshots. Raven, at same time made VG SMGs do same damage as a LW3 Sniper neckshots, PER BULLET. Shotguns, especially when firing a slug, are still very deadly at a distance. Games usually get that wrong, so I’m not sure I can agree about saying it’s not right to be able to down your enemy at a distance with a shotgun, if anything this might be a slightly better representation than most games imo since it still works at distances of over 5 feet lol.
This lol. I've blown 5" holes in deer from 120 yds with a sabot slug in a rifled barrel. Yes they are accurate, yes they go far, yes they do devastating damage. Even a rifled slug in a smooth barrel can have great range and accuracy.
I'm tired of all this talk of "meta" in every game for the last 10 years. Developers don't even try to ACTUALLY balance games anymore and dumbass fans encourage it. Modern Warfare 2 2022 campaign is one of the top tier campaigns COD has offered until now. IW knows their stuff. Excited for the final entry in the rebooted Modern Warfare series.
Honestly hearing about the nerf to hopping and sliding has got my attention for this game now. My old mw2019 setups were generally hard hitting precision tactics, so when players got into that sanic mode, i just felt bored and cheesed all the time.
Crazy to think you have the MX9 as the best smg, whereas on ranking sites that figure out the TTK, bullet velocity etc have it as the worst in the game.
Its dumb as hell, i shouldnt have to sit in a corner with a shotgun or camp in the back of the map with a sniper to unlock a camo or attachment for a damn assault rifle.
@@andymontanez56 I still fail to c this as an issue. I run SMGs almost exclusively. I dont like the weight or performance of most other guns n don't mind the lack of power an AR would have. Now I'm forced to have an unenjoyable time to get an attachment. It's dumb af.
The new way to do equip stuff makes a bit of sense to me, I always wondered why I couldn't use the same Red Dot that I had for the M4 on an LMG. Okay and that just totally doesn't make sense how the same weapon in two different fire modes deals different damage. but I guess they need to balance stuff.
To be fair. #9 the "sniper shotgun" one. it makes perfect sense that it behaves this way. sabot slugs can penetrate armor so an explosive slug round should be very effective at range. (FYI I'm not saying all shotgun shot types or slugs will pen armor)

Correction: the first knife isn't in the safe. The first knife is in the shop/plaza area. If you go in the store there's a dead solider with a knife in it. Turns out Ghost made his way through the same area

you get 2 base perks and 2 bonus perks which are acquired throughout the game on a timer, i think it’s about a minute for each perk to unlock
the base perks are active from match start.

Every 10 score takes 1 second off that timer

Streaming/downloading files as you play a multiplayer game. That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. So glad you can turn that off
this has to be my favorite cod game in a long long time. the maps are good and the gunplay just feels right. especially with it back on steam. it's especially fun because I can build several of the guns I own in the game

Shotguns, especially when firing a slug, are still very deadly at a distance. Games usually get that wrong, so I’m not sure I can agree about saying it’s not right to be able to down your enemy at a distance with a shotgun, if anything this might be a slightly better representation than most games imo since it still works at distances of over 5 feet lol.

This lol. I've blown 5" holes in deer from 120 yds with a sabot slug in a rifled barrel. Yes they are accurate, yes they go far, yes they do devastating damage. Even a rifled slug in a smooth barrel can have great range and accuracy.
Be careful playing this on the last gen. This game crashed my PS4 so hard it went into safe mode.

Honestly hearing about the nerf to hopping and sliding has got my attention for this game now. My old mw2019 setups were generally hard hitting precision tactics, so when players got into that sanic mode, i just felt bored and cheesed all the time.

@@andymontanez56 I still fail to c this as an issue. I run SMGs almost exclusively. I dont like the weight or performance of most other guns n don't mind the lack of power an AR would have. Now I'm forced to have an unenjoyable time to get an attachment. It's dumb af.

The new way to do equip stuff makes a bit of sense to me, I always wondered why I couldn't use the same Red Dot that I had for the M4 on an LMG.
Okay and that just totally doesn't make sense how the same weapon in two different fire modes deals different damage. but I guess they need to balance stuff.

To be fair. #9 the "sniper shotgun" one. it makes perfect sense that it behaves this way. sabot slugs can penetrate armor so an explosive slug round should be very effective at range. (FYI I'm not saying all shotgun shot types or slugs will pen armor)

What the game doesnt tell you is : to not upgrade to the latest nvidia driver. Really, the last nvidia driver makes the game barely playable with white flickering and textures dissappearing.
The Lockwood rifle also has a great inspect animation. Check it out.

Correction: the first knife isn't in the safe. The first knife is in the shop/plaza area. If you go in the store there's a dead solider with a knife in it. Turns out Ghost made his way through the same area

I can’t believe they didn’t add a combat record to this game, I have to manually write down my stats from the game. It also tells you quiting early will count as a loss, but you can’t see your losses
