You can do it with a normal book of matches the cardboard kind it’s hard but if you apply pressure and slid it faste enough it will lite I’ve done it a bunch of times Itl hert finger but it will lite if you do it rite

how is this possible? I'm pretty sure the fire is started with matches because of friction which is why match boxes have the rough surface, but glass windows are very smooth so how on earth is the friction generated?
