smart kid though, he's thinking about hearing protection. My dad never wore hearing protection with (unsilenced) 22s and it made him go partially deaf at an early age.
Ivan, great Video. I love seeing great dads getting their children into this lifestyle. Watching him like a hawk with that knife. Eagle Scout rules cut away. 👍🏻 Keep it going brother!
Awesome stuff. I've got 3 girls. 23, 14 and 11 years old. It's a struggle to get them out shooting. When they were young they loved it. Older they get tougher it is.
I recently purchased a S&W Victory Performance Center w/ carbon fiber barrel and Vortex red dot all from S&W as a package deal...It was not cheap. It was a total disaster at first. It took me 3 trips to the range to get 300 rd shot and NOT one mag was shot with more then three rounds before a failure of some sort...double feed, failure to extract and others... I tried 3 different types of .22 that fire fine in my other pistols with no issues. There is no excuse EVER for a Performance Center branded S&W leaving the factory without extensive proof that it is fully functional. It was sent back to S&W and they honored their warranty...from the spec sheet, the replaced a full page and 1/2 of stuff on my pistol to bring it up to function. It took me about a month to get it back, which is not too bad, and to date I have about 300-350 rounds through it and it is running fine.
The S/W Victory pistol I just bought fails to eject the fired case causing a jam. I never could get it to fire more than three times without jamming and that was rare. Most of the time I only got one shot off. I just want my money back and will buy a Ruger 22 revolver
@@danielburch436 I saw some other videos that indicated there were problems with the Victory when shooting subsonic ammo, and also a specific bullet weight. I think the weight was 36 grains, but I'm not sure. The subsonic didn't have enough power to adequately cycle the pistol.
I save up white or faded clothes and then get some RIT dye off of Amazon to do a batch of dyed clothes. It's fun and it puts things I might not use into the rotation. Works really great on faded Carhartts.
Your sidekick did a great job. He was like a pro with both, the super-sharp knife and the pistol. Great job dad... I absolutely love my S&W Victory 22. I need a muffler still thought, so I’ll check out the Erector brand. Great review.
Rad video Kit Badger. I do have to say the 3 👎🏼 people need to get with the program. It takes a pretty heartless person to thumbs down a video of a gun and suppressor review with ones son. Keep them coming KB. 💪🏼💪🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I blew out my extractor when shooting suppressed. Is this a common issue with the sw22 victory? Smith and Wesson was great and mailed me out all the components to fix the extractor. But I’m afraid to put the suppressor back on. Was wondering if this gun can’t handle the back pressure.
Wow, huge difference in super and subsonic, I thought at least. I have only fired through my buddies silencer on his SPW, you dont hear a single thing but the bolt. I myself never had a reason for subs, i gotta go get some tin cans and try some out. Stinky as you may find my opinion, i love the auto-match ammo. Great vid KB.
Kit Badger I kind of had it on in the background before and didn’t play the audio. I just revisited this. The banter between you and your boy is frickin hilarious. You’ve got a life time best friend right there.
Love this video I can’t wait for my son to get that age so we can do this stuff. By the time the atf approves my stuff he’ll probably be old enough lol
I’m extremely excited for the Erector 9. I’m starting to look into beginning my NFA adventures, and Q is definitely where I’m going to cut my teeth. Live Q or die!
He still asked for ear protection. Glorious!

Christopher Rowley I agree. I didn’t wear protection when shooting 22 as a kid either. I don’t hear so good now myself
Ya, there is no coming back from hearing loss...
You seem like a great dad Kit.
Working at it...
I remember opening up my first .22 with my dad.
Crucial times!! Great stuff Ivan
your name reminds me of when i was cleaning cosmoline off my mosin. now those were good times
JR Palm lol
Thanks man, it was a good time out there. :)
Nice to see father and son shooting together
Ivan, great Video. I love seeing great dads getting their children into this lifestyle. Watching him like a hawk with that knife. Eagle Scout rules cut away. 👍🏻 Keep it going brother!
Thanks man! :)
I love the extra time taken to teach a dude to use a tool! Great assistant!

West Virginia Gunner 304 they are girls. Give them cook books.
I like Ira. The genuine “Cool!” Was great. As was the “It’s a pistol!”
Even though from past videos your boys seem hooked, .22 pistols with a can are THE gateway drug for shooting. Great job Ivan.
Ya, 22 pistols are a blast to shoot. :)
Perfect setup for the youngbuck to get to learn and love firearms....He needs a 10 -22 too dad! Heheh
10-22's are a blast. :)
Super sweet set-up
So much fun to shoot...
This kids got it pretty good!
Yes he does. :)
Great stuff. Plinking .22 with your "Mini me", I can't think of a better way to spend the day.
It was a great time out there. :)

What watch were you wearing? Great vid, your kids are awesome!
Vertix, linked in the description. And thank you!
Sub just for taking the time to direct your lil dude how to safely use a blade!
Haha, right on. :)
Wow.......what an awesome young man. Right on.
I'm pretty stoked on my boys. :)
Is there anything more fun than a suppressed .22lr?
They are so much fun. :)
I'm thinking he was born ready.

cleary the apple didn't fall far from the tree with Ira there. Great video as always.
Thanks man. :)

There are always going to be haters. :)
Me expecting kiddo to whip out a 22 and say "It looks like it might fit on this!"
Excellent video ! 👍
Nice pistol ! 🔫
Thanks for sharing !

Thanks for watching Jerry!
Great video! Is it just me, or does your son go super sonic right around the 24 second mark? 😂 I love his expression!
Thanks for watching, and it may have. :)

I love any ammo that functions. :)
@@KitBadger well, some people swear by some brands. I can tell a difference until I saw your vids then I got to thinking.
Where did you get that clone?
Corner store.

What a cute kid reminds me of my son at that age.
I'm pretty fond of him. :)
