I ordered the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and was super excited to try it out. It seems Amazon had other ideas because they did not send me the camera. Keep watching to find out what they did and what they had to say about the matter...
On a side note: I don't think anyone is going to be wowed if they got the items in an Amazon Returns Store or on an Amazon Returns Pallet!

Hi Emily. It happened to my brother he ordered samsung's top phone model 23 ultra. From amazon And he received oven cleaner. Apparently it happens alot with expensive item.
Be interesting if you ordered a TV. What they would have sent 😃

Happened to me as well, a few times, not with this camera but with them sending me a 750.00 broken item. Then told me, it was one time. I started videoing every box opening so I had proof. Always order with a CC as well.
BTW, do not put any glass screen protectors on the lens. Quality loss issues etc.. come from that. I put one on main screen but not on the lens it self. :)

I'm not sure what Amazon you're using that can deliver the pocket 3 in 1 day, but that product has been on back order for months. The fact they even quoted you 3-5 days is actually pretty impressive. I'm looking at Amazon right now, and the earliest available delivery is July 26th - August 5th (this is from the DJI store on Amazon, mind you). I happened to find it available in a week from Best Buy here in the states online, and was pumped about that. I'll give you it's annoying to receive the wrong items, but things like that happen all the time, as humans pack the boxes. The fact you seemed to believe someone intentionally packed the box, strategically to fool you with the weight of the items inside it, is wild lol.
I ordered one last Tuesday and it arrived the following Wednesday by 1:00pm ? less than 18 hours ?
I got mine next day from Amazon UK. They were out of stock for a while. This channel is also a UK channel. It's available in store and online in Currys here in the UK.
Hi, Amazon in the UK sell it on Prime next day delivery. They did not have it in stock in Curry's when I ordered but it's now showing as available. I ordered directly from the DJI website in the end... couldn't risk receiving more random items!
I ordered a Sony 24-70 lens and they sent me a toy car.... i called them right away and they had me take a photo and it took almost a month for me to get my money back.. never order camera gear from Amazon.
Whoa, a month for a refund! 😯 Hoping it comes through quicker than it. Yes, I won't be ordering camera gear from them in the future now 😔
When I ordered my pocket 3 from Amazon a few weeks ago, the delivery driver called me to get the code for the parcel. I told him no he can have the code when he delivers it. Then when he came to my door I wouldn't give him the code before I opened the box. He was obviously trying it on and was not happy about it. But in the end I got my camera and am happy with it.
😯 Oh my goodness! I cannot believe that. I imagine some people give the code over the phone as well 😔

I have heard fo this sort of thing happening with Amazon.
Luckily when I ordered a Pocket 3 from them a couple of weeks ago I got what I ordered.
You'll absolutley love it when it arrives.
Don't forget the Micro SD card!
That's lucky! Good call on the SD card, I ordered one with it, I have some already but knew I wouldn't get around to clearing them in time.
Amazon has become a nightmare.
Be very wary of "marketplace sellers" a lot of the time you're not buying from Amazon, but from a completely different company, potentially not even in the UK.
Add that in with Amazon's simply dreadful customer service....
I don't buy from Amazon any more unless it's something really cheap.

I had similar issue, I ordered Rode Wireless Pro microphone set and received a £20 hair removal device. No apology from Amazon and very unhelpful, they refused to just swap it for the correct item, I had to reorder and pay another £400 then send the wrong item back for refund. I ended up having to chase them and wait 2 months for refund. They really have gone from a company with great service to a very low level. For many years they were my default supplier and I would spend thousands with them but now I just use them as an online catalogue to find things and then search elsewhere for a place to buy (most items can be found cheaper elsewhere). If I do ever use them now I always make the courier wait while I open the box in front of them, or if it has been left on the doorstep I video record opening the box.

That’s good thinking on the recording! I think I’ll be doing that with all camera equipment going forwards.

Im shocked at amazon for doing this, i have had everything i ask for and im now a bit apprehensive about ordering an expensive item from them now, thanks for sharing this i hope your refund is in pounds and not dollar's lol ❤
