Loved the intro jam. It was great to hear that Ahren was "feeling" your chord changes for both choruses...while he was improvising. That was truly amazing to witness. Proof how important ear training is and knowing chord voicings and all that. Very inspiring indeed. Thank you for sharing the interview with us.
Yes! I didn’t tell him what exactly I was going to play. He got good ear & good knowledges & live music experiences. Anyone can train this part. Ear Training & basic harmony. Berklee first semester. You have these classes three times a week!
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos, you can see your passion even when you're not playing the guitar, I can tell just by your curiosity. Soon enough I'm gonna start my guitar journey from zero and these video are very inspiring!
Knowledge is power - Access is greater. Knowledge may open the doors but when you have real Access that is the "Way of It". Well, done. Higher education is not always the correct path for some. Some are able to gain great knowledge on their own. It is obviouse that Ahren at one day decided to no longer be a Copiest and be an Artist. The hard work shines thru ~ 🌟🎉!
Thank you for sharing! Great example of "No one correct answer" I am so happy that Ahren went to Berklee, even only one semester or two! That's a huge difference than not seen & experience there! Same as John Mayer! "Finish or not finish?" Choices for each person! Life is strange & beautiful! Yes! Always hard work & preparation will make something very special!
@@TomoFujitaMusic yes, Ahren's knowledge gave him the ability make money to go for that one semester which gave him Access to you, Master Tomo. You are Key component ok n "opening" up people's internal skills. ~❤️🕯🌹🤟
Hi Tomo, thanks for bringing such musician who also make living by playing music. Ahren is such a master guitarist at this young age; I just looked at his Instagram posts. I would love to know if you also include Mateus Asato in these guitar chat videos that would be an awesome.
Tomo you just too smart, that's why we should all listen(whan you talk alot)! You have thouts from higher dimension to articulate. You are past life master sensi that came to deliver wisdom of, and from, the past.
Learn how to learn(?) no memorization ! Learn how to apply foundation to music! Maybe not learn all from RUclips and learn with someone or join my Guitar Wisdom. Are you subscribing my Guitar Wisdom?
@@TomoFujitaMusic thank you for replying but I have thought about subscribing but I learn better when I have teacher in front of me and I can ask questions even though I watch most of your videos
That's great guys. Always interested in hearing yours and others experiences. It's quite an important cause to gain advice, especially when taking music seriously for a living.
yeh you can hear derek trucks influence especially the 4th phrase, your first few chords although i think a semi tone higher caught my ear to be the same chords as snow bound by Donald Fagen
I had to roll that intro jam again after the video ended. It's super fresh, light and airy. He's the kind of younger man that gives one hope that life is still groovy. Nice work again sir, another very entertaining clip.
So amazing to see this! Ahren is not only an amazing player but a great guy all around as well. Awesome interview!
Thanks Jeff 😎🙏🙏
