"I don't know where the 'Scottish' part came from." The Commonwealth. It came from Canada being part of the Commonwealth. Also, there is an abandoned subway platform/tunnel under Bay Station in Toronto that military groups will train at!
The country flag names are: the netherlands, norway, Finland iceland, germany,Denemarken, italy belgium and two other flags are not in sight.
This excercise is counter terrorism. Police, defence intervention units and helicopercrews work/ train togheter for a major incident.
Thank you for your reply, I watched the video but I wouldn't have known that.
Love your sweatshirt
I love your content, bro. Can you please make a video of the Iraqi special forces ISOF?
Thank you!

Thank you for another great upload, brother!
Pretty positieve 13:50 is Belgian DSU (MCX and the black patch on his arm looks like the 'police federal' tab they usually wear)
Agreed, joint operations with ITA, BEL, GER, FIN, NRG, NLD, DEN, ICL, SWE (Dutch Police logo and description on video saying 9 European countries).
This New Zealand or Australia 9:48 fishing unit emblem its animal - Apteryx
Sick video dude
Glad you enjoyed 😎🤙
Great to have these format of videos again
I really hope you get in to some of these NATO exercises my dude at some point, you seem to be pretty hyped up about those LOL Anyways, great video once again! Check out some of the NATO joint exercises from FDF channel. Love from Finland
The last video exercise was organized by the ATLAS Network which is a network consisting of the special intervention units (basically police CT units) of the European Union member states + a few non members and it was established after 9/11. The purpose of the organization is to increase cooperation and interoperability which means it provides a framework for these units to train together and - if something really bad happens, request assistance and work together to solve the situation. Idk if it's a yearly exercise but they've ran the ATLAS Common Challenge exercise at least two times where the 38 Special Intervention Units had to work together to solve major crisis situations across Europe ranging from hostage situations to hijackings, bomb threats and/or mass shootings both on land and at sea. This organization and these units are top notch when it comes to this extreme type of police work. If I'm not mistaken FBI HRT has trained with the network on occasions or at least with individual members.
You should react to Azov’s new combat footage. It’s wild
Short video suggestion. "World class fastroping" on the channel called "Foravaret". Just over a minute. I wonder if the title is an accurate statement and how can one tell good from bad with fastroping. Caption reads "Danish special forces from armed forces and police fastroping and land on ships".
1:38 That's one of our guys,68th Brigade SF - Bulgaria.
Hup Holland!
As far as I know those Toronto boys are a regular light infantry unit.
Yep! The only difference is that they are a part of the Primary Reserve. They are not a Regular Force unit. Other than that the Scotts are just like any other light infantry unit.
@@EziekKielis it just the name or are they actually Scottish?
@@walczyc9572 Back when Canada was a dominion of the UK our military was created thus our military is much more like theirs in terms of what the regiments are named and the ranks. So traditionally yes they were the descendants of Scots. Nowadays I do not believe you have to have Scottish heritage but I could be mistaken. Also all Scottish regiments were allowed to fight in kilts, even landed on d-day in them. I believe they are only used as a part of the their ceremonial uniform now.
The Toronto Scottish Regiment ( Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mothers Own ) to give them there full title. The Queen Mother was their colonel in chief from 1938 till her death in April 2002 which they provided part of the escort at her funeral, their tartan is Hodden Grey.
The last exercise was an ATLAS exercise, which is a joint special police force consisting of the best special police units of Europol countries. It was hosted in the Netherlands and modeled after port defender, an annual M-Squadron (Dsi) exercise of NLMARSOF.
From America 🇺🇸 very cool video & watching different countries
working together.
Nice reaction! Can someone explain to me as somone who have absolutly no military experience, why the guys in some of the videos hold their rifles horizontal and not vertical in CQB? For example at 14:28?
Nice sweatshirt. Where did you get it?
How do we get a CAC hook and loop mtc patch. Looks great
Nice sweater

How do you think the Marines would handle SpongeBob in their ranks? Think he matches the maturity level. 😂
All me aged 18-26 will have to register for the Selective Service.
'The Toronto Scottish Regiment' video, looks like af freaking Call Of Duty Mordern Warfare trailer.
And they are only reservists...
They are reservists. Not regular forces...
There are only THREE regular infantry regiments in Canada.
RCR (Royal Canadian Regiment)
PPCLI (Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry)
& R22eR (Royal 22 Regiment), or VANDOOS.
Of the three, only R22eR has reserve units with the same insignia and Regiment name.
I did both sides. A long time ago (80s & 90s). And back then, reserve units did NOT do fast paced stuff like today... It looks a lot more interesting now. But since we almost only went out for peacekeeping, it was a different world to work in...
I met Princess Patricia's in Goose Bay when I was in the RAF. Really good guys, they were very friendly and one night when I was stagging on guarding an aircraft, they left one of their own to guard the kite and drove me to their HQ for a hot coffee. They were all good lads except for a Québécois sergeant who insisted on speaking to me in French with an insult.I drank my coffee and thanked them and as we left I addressed the sergeant (I was a corporal at the time), "pardonnez moi mon sergeant, Je ne parle pas Francais". His face dropped as his men laughed.
