If you’re doing oil pick stuff do you have oil in the dye solution or just dye and floetrol

What is your dyeing mixture done with?
I’ve been watching your videos and love what you are doing. Did I miss the instructions as to your mixture?

When you reuse a cell bed do you add new cells or do you just add the new swipe layer and go?

What type of heat lamp do you have? Can you use a heat lamp from a pet store or would that not be strong enough?

Question: When you drag the oil coated pin across, are you dipping all the way to the bottom or just drag across the top of bed? Thanks.

Depth doesn't really matter in my experience

I keep getting a lot of white poking through in my cells, should I be using shallower beds or adding thicker color layers somehow?

Do your colors/black dyes have 3 in 1 mixed in or is the only oil added when you use the poker?

  • @slickmitch

I got one for you, in a round bed, circles of color leaving 3 inches of white in the middle, multi-color or solid oil floe ring around, cling wrap outer rings while holding the middle up off the bed and pull straight up, streaked to the middle?..maybe? Almost tried this but did a half NLZ & Scarlet/NHO lava and half Carib and NCP lava.

do you not have issues with the oil masking the disc and not allowing the dye to penetrate?

Stunning! What are your sit times under the lamp? Would you say when you dip your pin in oil you’ve got a good amount on the pin?

I have a video on heating you can check out, but the short version is about an hour and 10 minutes with pretty high heat

@@LilbotDiscGolf is this while the disc is in the bed or while the cells are forming?
