Hey RPM, tell the camera man some random person in the comments said hes doing a good job, and appreciates what hes doin. As always, thanks to all of you for allowing us inside the shop to watch these builds.
I don't think it would make a big difference unless you have a cam. The cam shifts the power band enough that you would need to raise the shift points to take advantage.
@@dogsubx2shift points and shift pressures are very important even without a cam, mustangs gain a significant amount of ET when bone stock but tuned and I can imagine the same for the Camaros given OEM’s do not shift the cars hard.
Wow ! That’s real nice ! Currently on LT2 ported manifold, 95 mm tb ported, cut up air box with green filter, and on e-40-50 I believe.. but I’m making 420 whp. Wonder if that roto fab and headers will increase my power.. also not sure but I’ve heard a ported lt2 manifold puts down more power than a msd manifold (not ported) ?
I have a 22 ss 1le 6mt, it was 422hp stock, did rotofab, LT2 w/ NW 103 tb, & tune for 444hp.. Then got catless headers & awe touring full system & flex sensor, 478hp 93oct, 489hp on E-40 percentage on the roller.. So in other words Yes.. Depending exact numbers can vary from dyno to dyno, but if you do before and after, you get a pretty good representation of how much you picked up with that mod.. This RPM dyno reads pretty high, and not sure if your auto or manual, cuz those numbers are off between 20-30whp from the auto to manual cars power at the rear wheel.. As you see your dyno showed lower than mine when I was bone stock.. even after LT2, ported 95tb, and air box mod.. Might wanna make sure you have a good tuner, these gen5 motors are not like the LS.. You need to know what you are doing to get it right.. I will be installing a btr 225 cam, lifters & springs next to see how it affects the power.. Should be getting close to 550whp, and if I wanna go all out, heads to push it up towards 600whp.. But I don't see that happening..
@ gotcha, I have a buddy with the same car, same motor, same mods, but he only had longtube headers and he put down 450 whp compared to me and same tuner , so I was shocked, mod for mod besides headers
Yea right in that neighborhood so a ported set up would be better, and with plans for a built motor and procharger down the road the next round at RPM, the msd was a better option for the long term goals but what the lt2 does for a FBO and even h,c,fbo car is amazing for the price.

Mid West Mack told me to come here for Camaros ;) My dad had '72 and '74 Camaros back in the late 70s, beautiful cars.
The C8 cover will fit on the LT2 intake manifold when used on an LT1. That's how I run mine .
Im a Ford guy but Id love to have that in a 10 speed camaro
Nice work guys. Sounds like a blast
Curious to what your thoughts are on a TCM tune for the 10 speeds on a FBO E85 setup are. Does it make that much of a difference?

Kensington Beach is wild
What oil do you guys recommend for 2012 LS3 with a cam and headers?
NA builds are nasty
Do you guys do remote tuning for the 6th gen’s? Tried looking at the site but didn’t see anything on remote tuning. Thanks!
Yes we do. Email is sales@raceprovenmotorsports.net
Nice build.
👍👍👍😎😎😎
We're are u guys located at
Can you imagine if you got a car in the shop that was originally built from someone at Kensington Beach?

That lt2 was ported. Msd beat them out up top on a fbo car.
I assume you've seen Gwatney's video?

Drill Baby Drill!!!
That light buzzing would drive me krazy………………….
what do you think it would have done with a mamo ported MSD? seems like that lt2 made really good HP for WAY less money.
Good question? It’s a ported lt2 with a ported 87mm.. I’m curious what it would have done with a msd and a nick Williams 103.
Mine made 599.45whp on 93 and 624whp on 55% E. Mine was the same as this car but non ported msd and 103
@@White19SS1le nice! I was always curious. 30 hp roughly .
The Lt 2 manifolds really wake these cars up.

595RWHP isn't 600RWHP (though close). C'mon guys, has to be 5 extra somewhere......maybe a bottle of octanium???
They also post everything in STD correction so in reality only making 584-585ish SAE. Still good power for a 6.2L
5whp can change between dyno pulls it’s not a big deal.
You guys bitch about the stupidest things 😂
If they filled up with full e85 and not e50 it would have hit 600.
