Lol, watching a man put a tenners worth of diesel in a Tiguan. Strangely still more entertaining than watching TV these days.
If a VAG product has a non-OE head unit, look at the ISO connector behind the unit, if the red and yellow wires match between the init and the connecting block, switch them around so that the red from the loom connects to the yellow on the unit and the yellow on the loom to the red on the unit.
This will allow the settings and radio station memories to be stored without losing them the next time the car is switched off

The radio hasn't been connected properly.
There's a Yellow wire, and a Red wire. One is ALWAYS ON, the Other is IGNITION ON.
if the radio is losing info you just need to swap these in the connector plug. Use some needle pliers. 👍

Im from just outside Cardiff - we have soooo many single lane roads and lanes!
It might be that the clock on the dashboard takes its time from the original VW radio. At least I think, thats how my old Passat did it.
Never ceases to amaze me the crap tyre people drive round on in a decent sort of motor.
Nearly all the cars u buy have cheap tyres and different makes. Should you not keep the same make on each axle?

You may find the aftermarket radio is wired incorrectly and causing battery to slowly drain
Best fuel cards are Shell, Keyfuels and Allstar

Bought a topdon js3000 jump starter for £120 , very disappointed , starts one complete flat car and then needs recharging again which takes a few hours ..
Better off paying more money and getting durite or noco 150 !
I have the TopDon JS2000 in the breakdown truck and it will start 15 cars before needing a recharge, I would contact TopDon and ask them to replace it as it seems to be faulty.

Used vehicles in the UK are so inexpensive!
I did a nationwide search for the same vehicle in the United States and the cheapest one had 215k miles and it was $6750.00 after a price drop of $1,000 because of a Memorial Day sale.
The Tiguan is considerably more rare in the US than in Europe where Volkswagen are ubiquitous. Let alone that America is a much larger market and a car dependent culture.

They have been one of if not the top-selling VW models in the US market since they were introduced.
They usually sell between 80,000 to well over 100,000 units per year.
VW vehicles themselves are quite common and some models like the Jetta are everywhere.
Probably the least common modern VW is the non-GTI Golf.
VW controls 3.76% of the US market when you consider both imported and domestically built vehicles.
They make up for it by having petrol prices akin to HP printer ink. This is why he and other UK used car channels get so jazzed when the car they're looking at has more than fumes. Whereas here in the land of the Free (white supremacists): "full tank of gas." [SHRUG]
