My roommate came home with a lot of nice gopro footie of the day and man I wish I were skiing this year, looks so nice up there Great clips as per usual chief
@@MrAltapow Mr. Nate, just curious, what length did you go with on the Bents? I'm currently on a 189cm Backland 107 and they rip. Contemplating giving the Bents 100 underfoot a try. As always, thank you for your good natured responses and great content. Greetings from Austria.
I went with the 184's. They ski a little short but at my age it's actually kind of nice skiing a more maneuverable length. They're super light and absolutely rip on and off piste. I skied them all day yesterday on the groomers and loved them!
Hey man, I always see this line at 0:23 and would love to ski it but on the few days I tried this year I couldn't find it. Looks like its just skiers left of high boy, no? How do I get there?
Hey Nate! Yeah you are correct, it's just skier's left of High Boy towards the bottom. Kind of tricky to explain how to access it but I'll try my best. If you take the Tower 10 traverse all the way to the far end of Lone Pine almost to the point where it crosses into High Boy just above Tongue My Chute and drop into those tight aspen trees you can finagle your way down to a point where you will see a avy bomb rope that cuts across the top of this line (the Church Double as I've always heard it called). Go slow as you can easily miss it but you basically want to hug the exposure on your right side until you see the entrance air on skiers right. Hope this helps! Super fun line if you can catch early in the morning while the landings are still fresh after a storm. Good luck!
Lots of reasons, but the main one is that 80% of Alta's terrain is accessed by ski sidestepping. Which is impossible on a snowboard unless you have split board.
bruh this production quality is insane
Thanks nate!
1:19 to 1:25 might be one of the best shots/music combos ive ever seen in a clip. those 5 seconds made me remember why i love powder days so much.
Thanks so much! Nothing beats powder turns!
