It worked for me, two baking soda/dandruff shampoo/dishwashing liquid made my brightly semi permanent hair colors pastel. Just what I wanted. Two more of those shampoos, & all color would be gone.
Dude baking soda will dry the hell out of your hair so make sure to deep condition and bring your hair back to its natural PH redken has a shampoo for it
Can normal shampo be used? And is there any problem if we condition hair after wash, as it becomes very dry And can the hair be oiled aftr the procedure
Use dish soap if you don't have dandruff shampoo. I put olive oil and mayonnaise in my hair after. Sounds gross ,but it really helps because it gets super dry after.
we should wash hair with cold water but explain that while using this application or after 3-4 days of using this remedy then we should wash with cold water...?
I colored my hair with garnier burgundy color last 7months back now my hair color turned into yellowich. Is this remedy useful to me to remove ths color
Try this method and also afterwards consider a purple shampoo and purple conditioner - these should be labelled as tuning shampoos. These remove yellow tones from your hair. Use the purple shampoo daily until yellow is toned down.
heyyy, i have colored my hair red and i dont like taht now.....i have not used bleach to color my hair.......will this method helps me in removing red hair color.........will i receive my old haur back?? i have done coloring on vergin hair....please help
Just did a baking soda and a blue Dawn mixture in my hair and it didn’t do anything but dry it out. Also followed with 5 washes with Castile soap and that took out a lot of color but it’s still the same color! 😳
Hi, you can't remove bleach blonde from your hair, because the bleach in the dye removed your natural colour pigment. The only option is to add a colour over the top of the bleached hair, or use a toner to dull the bright yellow tones. 💚
You have to add developer in order for this to work. Developer + baking soda + dish detergent lifted all of my black box hair dye and lightened my hair.
Later this month I go for my first color strip. They tell me it’ll take more than one session to lift all the black (dyed) from my hair. Would this help it along bc I go?
God i apply hair colour on my black hairs and now its not going how to remove in one day cuz my hairs transfer to white hairs i also apply bakingsoda but no difference comes plz tell me how to remove permanent hair dye from naturall hairs
Didn't work at all!!! My daughter did baking soda and hot water mix barely toned down the deep burgundy she dyed her hair. She tried baking soda, dawn and dandruff shampoo mix - it did nothing!!! She tried white vinegar and hot water mix and nothing!!! She tried baking soda, dawn, dandruff shampoo and peroxide - NOTHING! The burgundy deep color is still dark underneath and the top part is a dark auburn. She s giving up homemade experiments that don't work. She is letting her hair rest for two weeks than doing store bought dye remover. What a waste of money!

Yes, since you haven't used bleach, this remedy should help to gently strip the red from your hair. Alternatively, use a box stripper. 💚

Go to a salon or get a friend to help.
You need strong chemicals to remove black. Be very careful!
Best wishes❤
