Morning Ian, thank you for this it’s going to be very useful, my Bonneville is now 18 months old and I will like you be taking care of it myself when the warranty is up, not only because of the cost but my local Triumph dealer has had my bike in 3 times and it’s come back twice with things not right so I don’t have any confidence in them anymore, if I do it myself I know it’s done with care, all the best buddy 👍

      Hi Mike
      Glad to help 👍
I prefer to work on my own bikes. For one thing, you know it’s actually been done properly, and it’s the best way to really get to know your bike in the event that there’s an issue. And it saves a lot of time and money 😁
Take care mate and ride safe 👍

Absolutely excellent, I’ve been hunting for useful information for my Tiger Sport 1050 (2020) for months…. Needless to say, I have already signed up…. Really useful video…. Thank you….

Its about time. Couldn't find anything for my son's Triumph America a few years ago. I've been used to tons of free info for Guzzi and Harley so it was a shock. Now we need to give Enfield a huge hint !

The bike I bought before the Tiger I ordered With the service manual, which was provided in printed form. To me, the "you're allowed to rent this technical information" feature of Triumph is abhorrent. Even with it they'll cancel their warranty unless services are performed by a "certified partner". Triumph tries to be as evil as Apple, and surely hostile to owners. It is perhaps softening the blow that you actually can access this stuff, but I really detest Triumph policy in this regards - I'll never buy a Triumph again because of this alone. Thank you for sharing this anyway.

      Hope you enjoyed the video.
As my bike will be out of warranty in a few weeks time I don’t have any problem paying a small amount to gain the correct information should it be necessary. I’ll save a huge amount of money by doing all the servicing myself, I also hate going to the dealers.
As for the warranty, Triumph are no better or worse than all the other manufacturers.

Did the 12000 service on my last Tiger 900. The shims were all in spec. Only gets tricky if they need adjustment. You will need a full day to do the service as so much stuff has to come of to get at the valves. I use dealertool to reset the service spanner. Good vids keep up the good work. Andy

      Hi Andy
Yes it’s very similar to my old Tiger 800, when I did the 12,000 mile service all the shims were in spec. Hopefully the 900 will be the same when I check them over the winter months. I have TuneECU to reset the service light (could this be a future video 🤔).
Great to hear that your enjoying my videos 😁👍

      Hi Mark
      I’m well thanks for asking.
Yes it’s definitely useful information for modern Triumph owners like Mike and myself.
Looking forward to seeing your new bike shed, I know where you’re going to spend the winter months 🤣
      Take care 👍

      Can I just say Ian,
I've done the 30 minutes tick over on my Interceptor 650 which has a DNA Air Filter, reverse cone megas, and I've got a fuel X lite system on, and after following up on what you said, it runs better than ever,
I only ran it for 12 minutes on tick over before, but 30 minutes has made a difference for sure,
      Many thanks 👍
      Cheers Paul
