so many people complain that Ascent is “stale” because everyone plays the same comps, when really it’s because teams are afraid to change from the meta. it’s really cool seeing loud pull out such an off meta comp and get the win
gotta love loud for that and the fact that every other team uses the meta that loud created, and then loud comes again and breaks their own meta lmao
The agent comp only works on the first time. after that it is easy to counter. That is why DRX is only good on groups stages where teams don't have any info about them. Like in kickoff. all teams have no info.
The meta ascent rarely loses against other comps. And Sen was ahead in ascent 9-7. But they weren't able to recover after getting destroyed by a JUDGE ACE mentally.
The current meta is used because it is the best that can beat any comps. imagine LOUD(current meta) vs LOUD (phoenix breach viper comp). It will always beat the new comp.
OFF META Only works first time. Because it is really hard to counter anything NEW. but second time it will be hard countered.
There are a million more important things as a team to focus on vs playing unorthodox on maps with pretty set metas. Loud just have the time to experiment with their 4 man solid core. While others still making the new roster changes work like comms, synergy, executes etc.
That is why LEV will be destroyed by LOUD. removing NZR adding COM few months before the season.

I mean there’s no such thing as a “best comp” for all situations but you’re right all the maps end up like ascent towards the end of the meta it’s just that ascent como has never changed with the balance changes
People dont seem to understand loud's greatest strenth is and always will be their masterful strategies, team combination and counter strats. Surely aspas had arguably biggest impact on his time but i think any decent duelist will fit in their system just well
man, it's night and day for the rest of Brazilian teams, If you see FURIA vs NRG and compare to LOUD vs SEN, you see that FURIA is a tier lower than these 3 teams in terms of strats.
But QCK is not a decent duelist. He is a beast. He was one of the first talents in the brazilian server. You didn't see too much about him because, when he started competing internationally, he was not on the duelist role and his team (Furia) was not doing good. Now, with Loud's strategies and the right role for him, he can show what he's capable of.
Bro, loud is really good because saadhak. If he left loud, I don't believe they can keep the level. It's better lose aspas and stay with saadhak.
I think the best thing about qck is his flex skill, i think saadhak can do more crazy comps now

As a Brazilian I can tell you, qck has always been a tier s duelist, he along with aspas were the hopes of the Brazilian valorant but aspas followed a better path, but the "aspas" could have been qck, cuz the talent was always in him... you will be amazed by his jett
QCK is lucky, I'm glad that he got this opportunity, FUR is always fumbling, they were holding him back, they manage to lose to MIBR lol. Mwzera gonna suffer from this too now, he doesn't have anyone on the team to make the difference in case of him not performing well, and even when he performs, the team make it impossible, the numbers don't lie. Havoc tried to get back after the crazy 2/20, but it's not just him, the team is outclassed.

It's amazing how everytime that Loud lose an important player, they always find a way to go through that and come with something new. It's really fascinating. Saadhak is the best IGL in the world.

Qck had to fill Aspas shoes, so I think he doing something right. I do think Cauazin and Sadhaak were essential to win maps 1 & 2 respectively.

map 1, yeah, it was pretty close. In Ascent the only thing that saved sentinels from complete embarassment was Sacy's god performance, he literally won a ton of rounds on his own in the defense half
