    • @francisco2525
      @francisco2525 26 дней назад +6

      Go look at his stats in games where Tatum didn't play, he is averaging over 30pts a game. The offense runs absolutely no plays for him to get easy buckets, the guy has a great post game, but Celtics never post him up, he is one of the best mid range shooters, but instead he is asked to shoot 3pts, and what is worse, they put him in the corner for long stretches so that he can open the floor for Tatum...Do you know last year he averaged 27 points a game, only three other players in his position as an option 2 have ever done that in the history of the NBA. Just sit out Brown in the Championship and see how the series goes, with how awful Tatum played, the Mavs would have won the Championship.

      This is the dumbest overused line of logic in the NBA. If a controversial player like JB is on a good team, he’s “getting carried and it’s too easy” to be impressive. And if he’s on a trash team, he’s “stat padding and it’s meaningless.”Just such a stupid take.

    • @abtocool6350
      @abtocool6350 24 дня назад +1

      @@nanagotham1590even with that being said kyrie is clearly the better offensive player than Jaylen brown. Kyrie as the number one in Boston averaged 24/5/7 on damn near 50/40/90 splits making second team all nba, and was efficient his first year in Boston as well with teams scheming for mainly him and him getting all the attention. Even in Cleveland as a rookie on the worst roster in the league with minimal spacing he had no problems being efficient, also in 6 games without luka this season he averaged 30/6/7 on good efficiency. So I think its safe to say he can still be the same efficient player that he is as the number option as well. The sample size is big, so there’s no point trying to combat my argument. He doesn’t need luka to be efficient and effective😂.

      What’s people’s problem on Kyrie’s placement on the list just from one series where brown was better. Kyrie is undoubtedly the better offensive player, kyrie is a better 3pt shooter, pull up 3pt shooter, midrange shooter, better offensive processor, better playmaker, better passer, and he’s better in the pick and roll. He shot 51% in the midrange per 75 possessions which is all time level midrange shooting and he’s one of the best catch and shoot 3pt shooters in the league. Your argument for brown being better would have to solely be from his rim pressure, transition play, and defense and kyrie is not even a bad defender.

    • @karlliebknecht2987
      @karlliebknecht2987 26 дней назад

      @@abtocool6350you lost all credibility when you said kyrie is not a bad defender. He is statistically a defensive liability. Brown locked up luka in the finals, and has been confidently a top 5 defensive wing these past few seasons. Brown also offensively outplayed the hell out of kyrie in the finals and it wasnt even close. Putting brown below kyrie is disrespectful

    • @abtocool6350
      @abtocool6350 26 дней назад +1

      @@karlliebknecht2987ah I see, your one of those who looks at advanced metrics to make a full depiction on someone’s defense. Judging defense is mainly a eye test thing, and if you think kyrie was a bad defender this year then that’s you, to me Kyrie was a average defender this year so we’re just gonna have to agree to disagree. Outplaying somebody in a series doesn’t make you better than Them, with that logic kyrie would have to be better than Ant. Kyrie is undoubtedly a better offensive player than Jaylen brown, better playmaker, better passer, better processor with the ball, better ball handler, better midrange shooter(although the gap isn’t that big), better shotmaker, better 3pt pull up shooter, and a better catch and shoot shooter.

  • @krisskrosssss
    @krisskrosssss 26 дней назад +2

    I feel as if you should’ve given Jimmy the edge over Zion but the two are very close and I’d say their placements are interchangeable.
    Jimmy is just more versatile of a player with less weaknesses and thus would be a better fit than most teams. Zion would have to be the engine with the ball in his hands and with shooters spaced around him to exert his mega value. And what you didn’t touch was his little to non-existent off-ball gravity on the perimeter due to his lack of shooting skill which is a big problem especially in the Playoffs.
    I get that Jimmy also isn’t an elite shooter himself but just like in your video about DeMar he still demands respect because of what he can do once he catches the ball with his slashing and respectable mid-range game.
    I honestly would’ve done (from 16-20) Butler, Kyrie, Zion, Wembanyama, and Bam.
    I might even bump Bam even lower than that tbh I just can’t see how he’d be more valuable than Brown’s two-way impact. Brown would be 20th and I’d have Bam at 21st and Dame at 22nd.
    Still a great video, can’t wait for the rest.

    Im going to make my case for Maxey here… One of-if not the best catch and shoot player in the league (50% on 3.7 APG in the playoffs), One of the fastest guys in the league, one of the best finishers in the league. While SG is his main position, he can 100% run the point. Next to Embiid, Maxey is averaging a career high 6.2 APG while continuously growing his ability to read different defenses and finding open shooters. One of Maxey's weaknesses is off ball defense, he gets caught lacking more often than you would like him to. However his on ball defense is actually pretty good. Kyrie had a extraordinary playoffs this year and has always been known to show up in the biggest moments excluding Boston lol, and he is extremely clutch. He also did all of this with the ball way less in his hands. That timberwolves series decided it for me imo at least and he actually played decent defense for most of the playoffs and isn't as bad as trae, excellent rim scoring as we all know which Trae doesn't have, still good playmaking throughout the playoffs, and you could say he is a 3 level scorer. Well thats my 2pc the hawks are really in a mess this year so that could effect how we view Trae Young. Still a extraordinary player.

      Yes it is Jalen brown has a way better team so the defense isn’t putting all its focus on him and kyrie played well all playoffs just had a bad shooting series against Boston it happens sometimes he misses shots he normally makes and the spacing was bad you’ll see when the mavs win the 2025 title and kyrie wins finals mvp

      Kyrie is significantly better on offense. The better playmaker, the better shooter, the better ball handler, and the better shot creator. Brown also works with the best spacing in the league in a true 5-out lineup while Kyrie has to share the court with Gafford/Lively and DJJ but still made it work. Kyrie literally shoots in the mid-range at 51.4%. Just to put that into perspective, Dirk Nowitzki’s best 2 year stretch in the mid-range only hovered around 50%. He’s shooting at an all-time efficiency in the mid-range, still one of the best pull up 3PT jump shooters in the league while also being a great ball handler. I’d only say that Brown is the better finisher due to his size and athleticism and better defender but in every other department Kyrie is just significantly better than him.

      Playing better in one series doesn't make you better than someone else overall
