Forsaken is probably the best player in the world right now, he may not have extremely high kills like aspas, but he is the most versatile and always performs no matter what on any agent he played all the roles, making him the best of the best. Aspas is definitely best duelist and jing and derke are up there followed up by something
this narrative of "the game is changing" is a really lazy blanket approach that should not be applied to both demon1 and yay. It can only be argued for yay, and more so tenz. The duelist meta has remained identical since demon1s god year. also saying that cryo had a resurgence due to him changing his playstyle simply isnt true. his playstyle is almost identical as its been, but the team is performing now due to the roster changes. lazy hw.
duelist role in general is just kill and run lmao, literally low skill needed to do stuff (aspas is an exception cuz he's the goat lmao) it will make difference if you approach or USE duelist as a team player, utility is the most important part for this game, if you can use duelist with a good control of its utilities, I'm pretty sure you can flex too, take a look at Forsaken, alfajer, and victor, their util usage is so fucking good, that's why they do well with duelist role
this is why Tenz is my goat. he went from the top duelist to a duelist having problems adapting to the changes of the game to playing a new role entirely and having such a big impact.
Please stop spreading the misinformation that somehow Chamber would be a duelist. you're literally explaining yourself that the purpose of a duelist is to gain space for his team. How exactly does Chamber fit into this category? he is INCAPABLE of taking space. his kit is defensive, it helps FALLING BACK, not creating space! sure, Chamber has a kit that favors taking fights, but this does not make him a duelist. his ult is an op, the ultimate defensive weapon, he has slows, stall abilities (all defense)... not a duelist!!
@@aerose5868 following this logic, Sova throwing an recon arrow in A main is "creating space", Omen smoking top mid is "creating space", any agent taking a 50/50 dry peek ego fight and winning it is "creating space". When talking about a duelist, creating space means creating chaos, through your abilities, in an execute. Be the tip of the spear... none of Chamber's kit is capable of doing any of this. have you ever seen an execute where Chamber's ability are the trigger that create the chaos allowing your team to take site? no... because he's not a duelist! what you all mean to say, is that Chamber is an excellent first contact. and you'd be right, he's the best at it, only rivaled by Reyna and Jett. but first contact and entry aren't the same thing, and while duelists can be both, Chamber really really isn't an entry at all... which is literally the primary role expected to be filled by a duelist.
@@sebastienaguila2107 chamber is hands down the best first contact in the game and believe it or not pro play isnt played like ranked and we dont just run it down every round. obviously chamber isnt a duelist but he really isnt a senti either. his trip is horrible and his tp can be used so aggressively on defence its basically just a rechargable jett dash with no wind up needed. he is literally a gun with a shitty trip and a jett dash that recharges. yay played chamber best because he was actually able to get value on lurks as he won literally every raw 50/50. @@aerose5868 Seems to me like we're in agreement, we just apparently have a different definition for duelist. yes, Chamber and Yay both are excellent at lurking and converting 50/50s on attack, yes they're both excellent at disrupting an execute on defense by getting a quick kill and disapearing, yes, Jett is also very good at this. but the fundamentals of a duelist, the one thing they ALL share is their ability to create space and chaos, which even non dive duelist can do in their own style. Yes, they are out of style, becvause they are less good at it, but they still share the trait.(Phoenix can isolate fights and flash them, even iso can vulnerable is potential next fight), Chamber is lacking there... imo the number one role to be filled by duelist. being able to exploit off angles and get out on defense the way Chamber, Jett or Reyna does isn't a fundamental of duelists, otherwise, more duelist would have it, not just 2 out of the 7 in game currently... literally half the agents in the game are better at entrying than Chamber is, because they have some sort of util to help. Omen, Fade, breach, Kay/o, Gekko, and every single duelist in the game beat him there...
@@sebastienaguila2107 there are "first contact" duelists and space taking duelists. chamber is simply a first contact duelist after the trip nerf. every character in the game has the ability to cause chaos and not every duelist can create space in most scenarios. iso useless reyna useless at taking space

Honestly, it’s not a player problem, it’s a game problem, the meta is too stale, pro teams can easily expect plays/counter plays, cause they’re very repetitive and it all just comes down to who gets shot first in whatever way, either 1 player doesn’t check a corner or doesn’t expect someone in a particular position, resulting in him getting picked off and the other team can just use that to add rounds to themselves. Valorant has become a timing based/split second decision making game, nothing more creative to get about it in pro play, riot needs to do something about it.

DERKE and ASPAS are the real GOATS,,,
they have been at the top from the beginning .
Well derke at the start of this year did look kinda bad ngl. Only recently he got back to being the derke we know and love
You forget to mention Something that switched to Gekko for majority of Madrid and play pretty well.
The fact opping gekko on attack works is absolutely hilarious
@@jojo6783f It's PRX, everything about them is hilarious.
They're the only team that see enemy invest 3 ult and say "a'ight Bet!!"
The fact zekken wasnt talked about much makes me sad
Zekken is one of the most interesting and dynamic superstars Valorant has. He deserves his own video
aspas: guess this video not for likes of us
it is, he lost 1-13 at shang hai and got sent home on the 2nd round
Its because they've nerfed the duelists so much that they need their teammates' utility most of the time now.
Great video brother.
Yay would probably fit in good with prx
Forsaken is the most consistent player there is right now . Bro never underperforms . Sadly nobody considers prx in these discussions coz they have no trophies
Forsaken is probably the best player in the world right now, he may not have extremely high kills like aspas, but he is the most versatile and always performs no matter what on any agent he played all the roles, making him the best of the best. Aspas is definitely best duelist and jing and derke are up there followed up by something
Faxxx . If a team of 5 Forsakens vs 5 aspass ever happens , Forsaken team would win easily
He always underperformed in important matches
this isnt a world problem its an NA problem
tenz plays smokes and just won a masters event not fading by any imagination of it
Forsaken - hold my beer 🍺
Because they're not Aspas
Forgot to add CNED
tenz was NOT an awper in cs lmao
3:04 💀
Only a problem for NA fanbois lol. Aspas and texture is doing so well, but just because they are not from NA they get less hype
If you really want to understand why demon1 is struggling go watch platoon
You hsve forgotten sick
So Raze is the best duelist?
Damn 2 views with 9 comments in 21 minutes he really fell off
Either Demon1 nor Yay is a duelist
Why are there only NA players on the video? Are there no more players around the world?
Only the NA duelists are washed 😂😂😂
great vid
It's simply because all dualist are getting their util nerfed
Being Top #1 is a curse actually
Aspas clears everyone
Lost my respet by promoting gear up 😢
this narrative of "the game is changing" is a really lazy blanket approach that should not be applied to both demon1 and yay. It can only be argued for yay, and more so tenz. The duelist meta has remained identical since demon1s god year. also saying that cryo had a resurgence due to him changing his playstyle simply isnt true. his playstyle is almost identical as its been, but the team is performing now due to the roster changes. lazy hw.
duelist role in general is just kill and run lmao, literally low skill needed to do stuff (aspas is an exception cuz he's the goat lmao)
it will make difference if you approach or USE duelist as a team player, utility is the most important part for this game, if you can use duelist with a good control of its utilities, I'm pretty sure you can flex too, take a look at Forsaken, alfajer, and victor, their util usage is so fucking good, that's why they do well with duelist role
this is why Tenz is my goat. he went from the top duelist to a duelist having problems adapting to the changes of the game to playing a new role entirely and having such a big impact.
mid
Please stop spreading the misinformation that somehow Chamber would be a duelist. you're literally explaining yourself that the purpose of a duelist is to gain space for his team. How exactly does Chamber fit into this category? he is INCAPABLE of taking space. his kit is defensive, it helps FALLING BACK, not creating space! sure, Chamber has a kit that favors taking fights, but this does not make him a duelist. his ult is an op, the ultimate defensive weapon, he has slows, stall abilities (all defense)...
not a duelist!!
lurk role + fns calling things that make sense = chamber taking first contact often on attack thus "creating space"
Senti is often top frag and should be that way.
non entry duelists are out of style right now
@@aerose5868 Seems to me like we're in agreement, we just apparently have a different definition for duelist.
yes, Chamber and Yay both are excellent at lurking and converting 50/50s on attack, yes they're both excellent at disrupting an execute on defense by getting a quick kill and disapearing, yes, Jett is also very good at this. but the fundamentals of a duelist, the one thing they ALL share is their ability to create space and chaos, which even non dive duelist can do in their own style.
@@sebastienaguila2107 there are "first contact" duelists and space taking duelists. chamber is simply a first contact duelist after the trip nerf.
every character in the game has the ability to cause chaos and not every duelist can create space in most scenarios. iso useless reyna useless at taking space
all but aspas💀
aspas lost 1-13 to fut 💀
anyone who has used gearup, does it actually do anything?
Everyone that plays against Aspas just get washed
NRG has a coach issue
Yay. Yay demon1, need some better team. Bruh.
Maybe put them on TS TEAM.
I MEAN JERMY pop-off soo good because of his teammates. This one of the reason why he still in shrouded if he is really that good as a duelist.
This got recommended after prx got grouped :/ Even jingg also fell off
With jingg it's more of he was not practicing with team till stage 1 and raze getting nerfed didn't help him
this is a comment before the video starts. Really hope you point out the real reason demon1 didnt make it and thats his confidence turned arrogance. You cant get on stage after winning champs say you are the best player in the world and then stop practicing...
only Leo bro, only Leo.
demon1 NRG just need a real igl still think old NRG roaster was better they just needed demon1 instead of Ardis
Great video handsome!
Valorant is honestly becoming slowly like overwatch
Aspas the 🐐
You overcooked bro ngl
8:13 W name
Dw we got aspas and friends (lev)
Bring pearl back
Let's bully and pick on this guy exclusively
How much is your career carried by a broken agent that has a busted get out of jail free card ability?
Yay: Yes
All of the them are NA
since when Yay is a top tier duelist player? Unlike Demon1, he never was a top tier duelist even on Jett, he only ever good on Chamber
do u see a pattern most of them are frm Na
not aspas!
clove is the solution for yay and demon1
Man I dont care abt gearup I play 5 ping
I feel like PRX has to many duelist and not that many flex if it was me I keep monyeet remove something and jingg bring back benkai bro sorry but forsekan can be the Jett if there’s a need for it but my primary duelist is monyet he can pay raze and neon Or omen or Astra,
Honestly, it’s not a player problem, it’s a game problem, the meta is too stale, pro teams can easily expect plays/counter plays, cause they’re very repetitive and it all just comes down to who gets shot first in whatever way, either 1 player doesn’t check a corner or doesn’t expect someone in a particular position, resulting in him getting picked off and the other team can just use that to add rounds to themselves. Valorant has become a timing based/split second decision making game, nothing more creative to get about it in pro play, riot needs to do something about it.
Aspas >>>
Tenz evolved to controller 😂
nah he is a flex
yay's career fell off so hard man 😔
Yay and Demon1 doesn’t have the skill to adapt, they were never good just lucky they got to play in an era that suits them
Be realistic man. Demon1 was lucky sure with coach like potter and good teammates but his aim and skill was real. And He still has that aim.
