Have used Cathay several times in both economy and premium economy. Hopefully I'll get to fly with the new configuration soon. 👍
Its no wonder aviation folks are saying Cathay will overtake Singapore Airlines within this year or next. SQ's quality has dipped while Cathay has been fghting to climb to the top again
Their biggest problem is the decline of Hong Kong.
I always prefer to fly CX whenever I can. Their service is consistently good. Really like the new cabins.
CX finally catching up
Sq had not dipped lol.
Oh my God!
Incredible! ❤
Stunning- Thanks
I'm most definitely interested in trying this product! Cathay also has fairly competitive airfares.
Absolutely
Looks good
Great Video
Finally! Hopefully these updates will be on the BOS to HKG route
Major improvement for cathay!
WOOOW❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
LOOOVEEE THE AVIATION INDUSTRY ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Human centric design but still opting 3-4-3 in economy 🙄
This is awesome I often fly J on CX
Well that's going to give the new inspiration for the A350 retrofit and the replacement for A330 I guess?
It's a 3-4-3 seating config. It's absolute torture, take it back to 3-3-3
3-4-3 is fine on the 777.
wow!hope to fly on those plane in the future
When will it be available?
But the 773 economy class is 3-4-3 config
Like almost all airlines now besides SQ and maybe some Mainland Chinese airlines like China Southern
@@manha61 And A350/B777-236/B787 variants of British Airway is still in 3-3-3 configuration for Economy class too.
I would be interested if their onboard service hasn't slowly shifted to be similar to other local airlines.
Oh, so they finally got update on Premium Economy class. Hopefully this will end the weird situation that Premium Economy class got outdated and unresponsive in-flight entertainment system when comparing that with Economy class in the same flight.
Will cash in Amex MR/Cap One points in the near future for some Asia Miles.
One huge con is no true window seat in business class. Not really customer centric. I rather fly airlines with true window seats.
First like ❤❤
Economy in the 777s are hell, I doubt anything they do will change that
✈️
I'll book their flight once they completely replace 777s with a350s.
How much longer are they going use the 777?
Probably for over 10 years , the 777-9 should replace the 777-300ER's
before the pandemic, cx operated 53 77w, when accounting for 77w that are retired from the fleet, in which most of them now flies in other airlines, the airline still operated lots of 77w, there would be more retiring from cx fleet in the near future with some could be converted into freighters for other airlines(cx used a350f instead of 77w conversion for 747f replacement), but still at least 26 could remain in cx afterwards
It seems they are potentially looking to order more A350, or choose between A330 Neo or 787
This ad has too many closeups and fast-moving snapshots it’s difficult to concentrate and understand what’s going on. From what little I managed to pickup, it seems that CX are offering what all other international carriers already offer.
15inch 4k is way overkill
Not too bad.
I had to fly United instead of Cathay last week… I deeply regret it.
I would rather cathay pacific over Qantas to Hong Kong at least for the next 5 years
I used to fly CX F. I will not fly CX again
Those economy seats don't look too comfortable... But then, neither was the sardine can I was in late March.
What routes will this be
NYC - HKG for sure; likely also LAX - HKG.
Impressive. US airlines are so tacky about customer service.
If it's Boeing, I'm going.....to die 😅
Get 777 x and cancel your airbus 350 order
Sure ! ....if you wanna be scared sheep less 😅😅😅
Air Zimbabwe executive class is way better.
Philippine airlines is just watching🙄
Those cattle class seats looks very uncomfortable.
I cannot fly Cathay pacific. I've been critical of the Chinese government online so I could get arrested in Hong Kong 😂😂😂😂😂
Awesome 😮
If you’re worried about that then you probably don’t want to fly Singapore either.
It’s Boeing 😂 good luck
Not funny 😐
