I used a dishwasher tablet and it was the fastest ive ever cleaned it... simply spray some water on the base of the oven and the sides.... dip the tablet in a bowl of water and scrub - dip - scrub - dip....keep repeating and your done in no time 👌
Hi Chelle, you can buy an oven tray cleaning dish from lakeland that fits all your oven shelves in. Much better and less work than up and down stairs to bathroom and a lot less work cleaning bath after xx
I have the large tray from Lakeland, even used as a sandpit when our youngest granddaughter was tiny when she was here. I remember buying it in Glasgow and the lady said I could use it almost as a toboggan 😆we don’t have a bath just showers, so this tray is handy.
Hey Chelle. Thanks for the motivation. I have just cleaned my oven from top to bottom and its "gleaming". I didn't have the paste but used the pink stuff spray xxx
@ I use an old dish cloth & just rub gently …..then wash cloth out with water & wipe the glass so it’s free of pink stuff then dry it with a bit of paper towel…..they come up like new. Would advise to do a small patch first, but mine is absolutely fine 👍😁
@@lynnrushton7458 Thanks. I'm so sick of the hard graft needed on our stove glass that I don't do it often enough now. I have 4 glass panels in folding doors so the stove can be burned as an open fire. But that means lots of air leakage and therefore lots of sooting up of glass. I'd go for a clean burn stove of some sort if I replaced it. But there's a lot of life left in it yet.
I use baking soda and vinegar mixed to a paste ,leave 20 minutes and rinse off In sink ,I have removable glass plate ,the shelves I do the same ,and no bath ,just a good scrub .
My oven is in worse condition than yours, I used pink stuff paste before I saw this video and I didn't get the results you did. The pink paste didn't clean my glass but I think that's because I didn't have one of those magic daddy sponges instead I used glass cleaner with a Stanley knife blade & the glass came up like new. The only thing I haven't tried which I've seen in other videos is soaking the oven racks in cola for 24/48 hrs it also works wonders on chrome and other metals. I also removed the fan cover (4 screws) and unbolted the fan blade and cleaned them both you'll see & hear the difference, I found there was more grime built up behind the fan cover which slows down the fan blade. For me i found it to be more than a 3 step process, I spent hours & hours of elbow grease scrubbing and didn't get the results I wanted and even after all that cleaning my oven tripped and decided not to work FFS just my luck 😢😂😂😂
I put the shelves into a plastic tray, with hot water and a couple of dishwasher tabs then allow to soak. Then I clean as above comment,👏 but do it regularly it’s simples.?😃😃😃
Omg you are so brave scrubbing the oven in your gorgeous white jumper , I could never I would get soo dirty!

This has motivated me Chelle, need to do mine before Xmas as it is at my home this year 🤭❤️🎄 xxx
Hate the oven job but you've motivated me to get mine done xx
I have never thought about using the bath for the racks. I would be scared to get the seal back if I removed mine. Great job.

Oh I hate that job but it's so satisfying when it's done!
How do you clean where the heating element is?
What a superb job, one very brave and gutsy lady, you are a star! Love ya❤
If you put your racks through the dishwasher it does the work for you, that’s how I do mine, saves you cleaning the bath.😊
Me too
Love this going to have to do mine ready for Christmas yours looks so nice xx
Hey Chelle. Thanks for the motivation. I have just cleaned my oven from top to bottom and its "gleaming". I didn't have the paste but used the pink stuff spray xxx
Worst job ever but always feels good when done looks great ❤
Pink stuff is brilliant! I use it to clean the glass on my wood burning stove 👌
Do you? Does it get the tar off and not scratch the glass? What do you use to apply it with. Stove glass cleaners are rubbish!

I use oven pride now and leave over night . Probably to chemically but dose the job . X
Hi Chell, just found your channel ur video is really good 👍, luv from Denise Glasgow Scotland ❤️
I think you can take the door off so you can get closer. Be careful of the glass as mine shatterned when i put it on a towel
The dreaded oven clean . We feel so. Good when it's done though xx
Thanks for sharing this video, great tips and excellent results.
Hi, Chelle, would you mind sharing where you purchased your kitchen cannisters from? Please, (tea, coffee, sugar ones) many thanks ❤❤

You're very brave to do that with a white jumper on! 😂
and don't forget to wear your best white jumper
Inspirational…..Thanks Xxx
Needed video 😂👌❤
Will someone please invent a new type of oven
Still not as clean as i get mine, i use ovenpride...yes a chemical , less elbow grease.

Well blow me down and cover me with baking soda , I never knew you could take the side parts out. Just as well i have a new oven.
Neither did I!😊
👍🤗🌹
No thanks, life's too short for that shit. I just get the professionals in and for only £50 my oven looks like it was just installed.
