So what I get from this is that Michael has the closest to my opinions, and I like that he sticks up for a lot of their older songs, Ashton is way too harsh on their old songs, Luke doesn't care about doing this, and Calum hates his own band 😂 I do appreciate that they didn't just stick all of the old stuff on the bottom and the new stuff on top, but I STILL think a lot of their old stuff got put way too low.
Ash’s assessment of Catch Fire was SO accurate for me “In my heart of hearts I feel like it’s D, I don’t love it, but for some reason I’ve always been very gentle with it” same. Y tho
Honestly same and idk I think it's bc like, the song is harmlessly mid in every way. The chorus isn't bad at all, but it doesn't stand out either, the song itself isn't that soft but it's also not heavy, the whole thing sounds really pleasant and is rly easy to listen to but It's also catchy and memorable without being invasive In a way, It's almost the perfect song in general

And I think just doing this ranking reminded them of old songs they liked or the fans liked but had not played in a long time.
