I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts about fov. This is something I've been working on the past week as well - 49" ultrawide. I'm finding using the calculator but setting the monitor 10% smaller has added some realism for me. Thanks for the inspiration
Good stuff, man. I'll mostly be discussing triples, but the driving philosophy should translate and help others if they see things the way I do. And you're welcome. Thanks for watching.
Pretty sure the FoV issue has to do with human eye focus, and how it affects depth perception. For example, try walking for 1-2 min only looking down at the ground a meter ahead of you, and then after look up at the sky - behold as it now appears as if the clouds are moving up and away from you. This happens as your brain for the last 2 min has gotten used to constantly changing your eye focus to accomodate for things coming closer to you as you were looking at the ground whilst walking for 2 min. Now all of a sudden it isn't, and the brain and eyes need to readjust. Its a pretty funky feeling.
Hey man, big fan of your content, I have a similar passionately built rig. Glad to hear you are from Canada, wondering which province are you in. I'm from Toronto, ON

I’m really looking forward to it- I feel fob cal and real life sense of view I blurted and hard to hit right - bit confusing- can’t wait✌️👍
I'm working hard on it. It's a lot cover but I'm getting there.
@@sense-of-speed your videos are worth the wait.
@beecee7359 Thanks, man. Consider me flattered!

Interesting point. Thanks for sharing. Depth perception and perspective are funny things. We seem to be of similar thought for sure. 👍

Thanks for digging my stuff, Steven. I'm actually in Michigan (Detroit area) but did work for Mulimatic back in the day.
Good stuff bro
Thanks, man!
Did you diy your wheel?
No. It's the Simedal X-GT without the decal.
