I had an elephant encounter in Copenhagen and it left me with a huge hang over..... It wasn't self-inflicted - It was by order of the Royal Danish Court. I had to do it - orders from above - you understand.....
That was quite an experience with the elephant! Would have been interesting if the elephant blew it's trumpet....guess there would have been a mad dash for the car! Happened to me once at Queen Elizabeth National park, Uganda, and since then, I do not get close to those beautiful beats! Awesome video.
Darn! I was really in the flow of this series and now I'll have to wait patiently! In the meantime I've taken the time to become a Patreon... I've been a long time fan of your work Andrew and it's actually made all the better for your daughters influence. I hope mine grows up to be as life loving as yours! Keep up the smashing work both!
I grew up in a Northern Canadian climate where we had clouds of mosquito's and the best thing was a repellent with lots of deet like Muskol, D-15, and Deep Woods among others. The citronella candles and other citronella products don't work at all.
Can you tell us what clothing as in brands you wear? The shirt seems comfortable and has lots of storage pockets. A review of expedition clothing would be nice.
Very nice video. Good advices! Nevertheless! Be careful with elephants. When self drive, South Luangwa is a paradise and you will se for sure a lot of wildlife. Where I am (in Malama on the Petauke-Mfuwe rural road) you will see a lot of wildlife. If you go there, please visit our camp! Malama Umoyo.
Currently Speaking, The Elephant is still alive and not a threat to Humans, Likes to Mingle around the Campsite at Roys
Still a lone Elephant :)
The only youtube channel that i'll set to 1080p, and bother to leave it buffering for an hour. Stunning!
Great video! That elephant encounter was pretty intense :)
Thanks for sharing - Martin
