ABS button was already implemented in the Extreme edition, however, you could only enable it with the button, to disable, you still had to go through menu
You can buy tubeless rims, not everyone wants tubeless, me included. A few more hp would certainly be handy to lift the front wheel over obstacles. Some decent upgrades here but will probably keep my old one.
very interesting changes, as I am about to buy a new T7. Will wait for more info to decide if I go for new models or just get the older model with cable clutch. Usually less electronics is better for me as I ride my 1990 XTZ750 of road currently and I can fix most issues myself.
YUP, it's not just you, less electronics IS actually better and results in a MUCH more reliable and cheaper to maintain bike. Also, the throttle is ride by wire too on the new model, which I don't like at all...
@@nogerboher5266 The lack of electronic rider modes was a selling point for me, I want reliability while on long trips. I'm definitely glad I got my 2024 when I did.
Happy to hear that Japaneese make the evolution and not revolution on this bike. Glad for all the widely asked updates. One downside... with the ride by wire could have implemented cruise control...
I'm glad they did not change it drastically. It already was perfect and needed some little more stuff to keep it updated. Although I'm just sceptical about Ride by wire which I always find very weird to use. I do like the conventional cable throttle but I guess I'll have to get used to it. But aside that it's a monster on and off-road.
Why do you have to buy the new one? If you like the previous one and it still works well. consumerism makes you want this one, it's essentially the same
One of the really attractive aspects of the T7 was its Simplicity, its lack of (silly) electronics. More parts, more problems. The T7 becomes just another SUV type ADV bike. ABS proves more of a (dangerous) annoyance than all else. I don't need TC. And, CC? Really? On the dirt trails? What should have been improved on is the exhaust damper and sub frame. The sub frame should be detachable as a bolt on unit. And the damper perhaps be more integrated like the YZ 450.
Just got the Extreme ver. last week, early to tell but great fun so far! Aside from the engine restrictions and eletronics is the new model lighter? Cheers!
I have the 2023 World Raid Model, I am curious about this, Will these new features be compatible with any module and the 2023 model World raid? For example ABS module, Maybe Screen, ABS modes, I am also curious about the European Price :D
Hm well I think they could have done a little more with the updated version looking at kove and ducati right now the suspension travel is lacking in the rally. The revised tank is a nice touch though.
@@pedrovazquez9146 Where I live there's hardly anywhere straight enough on a 2 hour ride to use cruise, I don't even use it in my car, it's not really an issue for most.
What is usage of cc and tl on this kind of bike? What if you hit the rock and bend rim? You will call rescue to come for you on Kilimanjaro? No Kilimanjaro? Then buy honda nc759x dct and enjoy.
@@milosbosnjak4278 you can pack a tube and put it in a tubules rim if you bend it. CC is very useful when riding tarmac on your way to the trail. Still I'm content with the new update on the Tenere. I like they didn't change too much of an already great bike.
pandering for the sake of it - no need to confuse the simplicity of the bike with modes but whatever, you mention they listened to customers, well is the idiotic exhaust still mounted to the welded subframe? if so they have witnessed the aftermarket provide the fix and yet....lazy yamaha. Bike looks sick though, 4k more than when it was released - 30% increase..... not cool
Yes for Yamaha not completely ruining the looks of the Ténéré :D I love it
well... i keep mine ...its already 5.5hp up and sounds awesome!!
Cheers from Greece!!
Yup, who need good suspension, tubless tires or cruise when you can add ride modes! 😂👌🏿
ABS button was already implemented in the Extreme edition, however, you could only enable it with the button, to disable, you still had to go through menu
To little to make me want to uppgrade. A few more hp, cruise controll and tubless would make me want to trade in my 2021.

2024, the last Tenere 700 without all that electronic mumbo jumbo.
Good upgrades. Don't like the rectangular headlights.

Put mccruise on my 2022. Works great. But they should have put factory cruise on the 25. We have vast distances in Canada
They wil do on the expensive models i think
That’s a beast !

Add cruise control and tubeless tires and I might buy one. For now keeping the Super Tenere.
What was revised on the exhaust hanger? Looks the same
Good report. Hope we get them in USA Doubt it

3kg heavyer 208 kg
There’s word of a 900T. What engine do you think maybe used??❤❤👍👍🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧🏍️🏍️
I wish they would go tubeless...
No cruise?
Great bike but I am still going for the Moto Guzzi V85TT. I am nearly 60 so I think I am now entitled to buy an old duffer bike.
Again without tubliss wheel?

Aluminium!
Not happy that they kept the exhaust bracket welded to the frame and they didn’t add android/carplay system…cmon it’s 2025!!!
They did introduce apple/android system
@ website clearly mentions myrideapp for connectivity
Didn’t understand what is changed on exhaust mount?
Did they move away from swingarm?
Hopefully is bolted on and replaceable
Will any of them be available in North America? No? Guess I'll just have to keep riding the crap out of my 2021.
now make a Tenere 450 and you have my credit card
Cruise control?
you cannot cruise on dirt
@@AntonyToumazosretard, ofcourse you gonna ride it on the tarmac to
But I can cruise the 2 hours to and from the dirt😊
Veridian cruise will surely have a unit for it once the bike is out. Not a big deal

Great but were is the Y AMT?!?
Quit spamming this everywhere, it's just you
Born for rally
Still it was beaten by Aprilia
👍
Still not even close to a Aprilia Tuareg…
And never will be
Sadly the too small petrol tank and overweight make it unsuitable for real world riding in Australia.
We do not need gadgets but tubeless tires, TC, QS.
QS would be nice
No cruise control
No tubeless
No extra hp
No thanks

low horsepower in its class
I dont want electronics..
Don’t buy it then 😂
