Thank you.. I already had 7-zip but never knew this technique! Works like a charm.

This was helpful and informative! Much easier to protect a file/folder than PGP in email. Works great using ZipCrypto format. Extracting didn't work for me using AES-256 encryption.

Not sure what is going on on I tried to do what you stated in the video. I am trying to 2 files to a zip file as you instructed but only file has the password to open and the other one does not. Please advise.

The zip file itself will have a password, not the files within it.

HI. The password only works the first time, after that you can log in without a password. How come?

I assume it's because once you put in the password, you don't want to keep having to do so every time you access the file. Plus it assumes you are allowed to open it again if you had the password the first time. If you log out or reboot then you will need to enter the password again the first time.

But if you email it to someone, they will have to put in the password.
