Nice to see some videos on the Jeep Liberty not to many
Right!!!! i have a 09 Liberty im trying to rebuild n upgrade it
nope, i see many.
Over time those brackets will never stay tight. You need at least three straps. One to support the vertical weight.
I always wanted to put wrangler lights in my liberty right now I just have LED bulbs they do the job nicely. Those headlights look really good tho
I feel like they are going to shake as you drive down the highway, looks decent at the end. Maybe worth doing the mod but not a fan of the huge air gap around them.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish a ring around the headlights that will hold it in place, this was going to be a two part video. My goal in every modifications is to make it look factory.
Cool looking lights
Liked n subbed. Thanks for showing the hardware and electric/wiring.
Es lo que le llamo un trabajo de baja calidad
Wy is the reason open the original headlight
I was going to use the back as the main base plate for the wrangler headlights. After test fitting it I didn't like the result.
Como mola la pintura veis las faros geniales desde madrid España
Where did you get the connections to install directly to factory connections
Ebay or Amazon
Yea am trying to upgrade my sons jeep with some aftermarket lights and but cnt find brackets for it almost all of them are for other type of jeeps do u know any that would fit? If not I guess I'll go how u were originally doing it stuffing it to original light assembly
@@joerodriguez2645 I believe the JKU brackets will fit. The only problem I heard about them is it's difficult to adjust them.
@@hearttoengine9044 thank you very much let me look for some on Amazon
@@joerodriguez2645 did you ever find anything that would work?
This video is a good example of how not to do it. Installing cheap parts isn't the problem, it's just that the implementation isn't that good in my opinion.
Now that is cool . . . How do they perform compared to the old stock headlights at nighttime...Better or worse?
They were much better than stock.
@@hearttoengine9044 I'm actually glad to seeing folks like you creating these videos for the Libs...makes me realize there's an actual Jeep Liberty crowd still alive...Besides upgrading light bulbs, I noticed there aren't much in the market for upgrades headlights for the Libs...and i seen some that sell them built like you did for $300....I just don't like my stocks with Silverstars Ultra...i know there's gotta be better... so I'm trying to learn how to make something like you did...and how u did it looks cool!!! So it got me curious if it performs better than what I got. . . My other car got hid and I prefer them for nighttime over the Libs stocks...but I don't want to make the mistake I did once in the past I bought some cheap ebay aftermarket and the night use of them were horrible and ended up putting back the stocks on those. I don't want to repeat that lol.. But researching around, I'm learning it's possible to make a decent one for the Libs.
@@RangerRick2012 I'm glad this video helps unfortunately we will no longer make liberty video since the car was in a tragic accident. I'm grateful for the time I had with her and thankful for my subscribers for watching my videos. Hopefully my channel will inspired people like you to keep the car community alive.

Este video estaba destinado a ser un video de dos partes y una forma económica de hacerlo. Si tienes una mejor solución, soy todo oídos.

Those cheap led headlights suck. All they do is light up the tops of trees no matter how much you adjust them because there is no focus to the beam. I went as far as making custom adjusters and still couldn't set beam low enough. Everytime I drove anywhere at night people would flash high beams at me. I bought some kc headlight replacements and they are the best ever. Lots more light on the road and no one getting blinded by my lights. If you want led headlights you have to spend atleast 400 for something good don't bother with the cheap ebay ones. The kc lights I bought were 120 for the pair and we'll worth it
Unfortunately Jim, I no longer have this Jeep. This video was attended to help the Liberty community to add aftermarket headlights and if you have a better idea how to improve the design go ahead. There's nothing wrong in improving a design tell it becomes perfection. ruclips.net/video/UN43hQLvQJ4/видео.html
This was painful
im a kj fan, but sorry its ugly and not worth the time to instal them...
It's cool, everyone has their own opinion. The purpose of this video is not installing these specific headlights but showing you can install any headlights with little creativity.
Good idea bad mechanics next time take it to a professional.
