would this work with an A2B obree battery, apparently it has to make handshakes with the other components before giving full voltage ?? it is for a brushed motor, only 2 main wires, i am wanting to use the same battery, motor with a different controller and display cheers
i recently built a 10S battery with BMS, which Voltage should i read at C- port while not charging? The client was surprised to see same voltage as battery pack on C- port, because he has some BMS that read 0V at C- port

It is, I don't think it is per balance wire, maybe 5a across the whole pack t peak discharge, they never get more than 'slightly warm'

What about the switch? It's no longer needed?
Unfortunately the switch wasn't compatible with my replacement BMS so battery pack is 'always on' not ideal but better than a new battery!

Sorry there's no source for the original BMS. Replacement BMS is just a generic 10s 15a unit so any suitable one will do
