This is an important part of my “survival” collection. 3 firearms, a pistol in 9mm/22lr, an AR-15 in 5.56/22lr, and a 12g pump. Covers pretty much any sized game on the continent with legs or wings, and it’s accomplished in 3 weapons and 2 conversion kits. This group goes on every Overlanding/camping trip I take.
recently purchased the 19/23 conversation kit for my PSA Dagger compact (Gen 3 clone if you didn't know) and by the 3rd magazine reload I did get a round stuck in the chamber like you said. After that, I went through 150 rounds flawlesly! Cost effective and fun to shoot!
CCI Minimags were great... My Gen3 one basically ate anything that was rated between 1100 and 1200 fps. I sold it, but now pondering getting another one since they have threaded barrels and optics ready kits... And you are right, I will never get back to even money, after paying $400 for a kit... lol...
Strange, i just got my gen 3 conversion and my internals are different. Barrel is reverse tapered and that bar is now attached to the barrel and slides along the slide instead.
Nice video. I have the AA conversion kit for the Glock 17 5th Gen. Works perfectly, even with ammo on their "not" recommended list. So far, this conversion kit is recommended.
If you do the "eat anything" mod that's here on RUclips, polishing up various parts, seems like that solves the issue. Also, thingiverse has followers & base plate plungers that will make the 25rd be a 30rd, and with the extended mag adapter it makes the 10rd a 17rd. Then it works great for practice & muscle memory... just like the real glock. Except recoil, of course.
I haven't personally tried it out, but it is a known issue. If you take a .22LR and increase the weight of the slide then it MIGHT not cycle right. .22LR is not a very powerful cartridge.
That’s pretty good n cheap training or plinking conversion. My cuz has one on gen3 n his slide stops short almost every time not sure if it’s recoil spring or wrong ammo
That .22 round you put through that gun is the number 1 round they tell you not to shoot with that setup same with hollow points and anything with really more than 40 grains of gunpower in it
I checked the Advantage Arms website. Here (if RUclips will allow it). www.advantagearms.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=AASOS&Category_Code=FitTable They don't explicitly say if ANY model will fit a Glock 19X. I'm not 100%, but I don't believe they have anything for the Glock 45 or 19X.

Thanks, I just bought this for my gen 3 G19 looking forward to some inexpensive practice!

thinking about getting one of these kits, have lots of .22 lr but only a single shot bolt rifle to fire it out of
It's good cause you will be training with cheaper ammo in the gun that you will carry on a daily basis and become more familiar with it.

I have this for the 17/22. Gen 4. Love it. Also have dedicates 22lr upper for my AR... so I can shoot my AR & pistol for super cheap.
I have a GEN 3 Glock 23 would it fit
CDA, Idaho is about 30 Minutes from me. Don't feel sorry for them. It's paradise.
Taurus TX 22 for practice same price...This is a good addition. Cour-da-Lane nice city...
Does putting a red dot on the slide makes it too heavy to eject the shell properly???

It's the ammo
@@rileyEscobar11 your there?
So I can turn my Glock 44 into a 9mm?
Does it fit a CAA micro mini pistol brace?
It seems to be very close in dimensions to a standard Glock 19, so if it would fit that then it SHOULD fit one with the conversion.
@@theevenstevenchannel8220 thanks for the quick reply!
44 Mag fit Glock 19 with the conversion?
I'm not sure, to be honest.
Does not work
What’s the model number of that holder bro
That is the Blackhawk Omnivore holster. There's a few models that lock onto a weapon, but that is the "non-light bearing" version.
@@theevenstevenchannel8220 thank you sir
Where can I get the frame?
Most people would buy a complete gun, but Black Phoenix Customs sells frames online.
@@theevenstevenchannel8220 thank you bro
thank you

so this will work on 19x frame ?

Will this fit a Glock 45?
1:24 is making me uneasy. That's not how you secure a weapon, you're supposed to rack it AFTER you take out the magazine.
Well if I wanted a a .22 Glock it sounds like the G44 would be the way to go. Too many do nots for my liking.
Glock 44 wouldn’t be my recommendation personally, people have reported issues of reliability and the ejector getting blown out the side.
Has anyone tried this kit on a Glock45 Gen 5?
Where can I order the lower frame?
If you put Black Phoenix Customs into Google you could order from their website. It legally counts as a firearm so you need to do paperwork and such.
@@theevenstevenchannel8220 is there a website that requires no paperwork
@@deeaguilar7645 are you a felon or illegal alien?
@@K1dKrusade I'm a ex felon. That's bs tho I have a right to defend my family is someone tries to do them harm.
Buy a TX 22.!!! Much cheaper. Excellent gun !!
It costs $300 and for $100 more yoy get the actual glock
Not in Cali like me bro
THESE ARE TERRIBLY BAD.
Just get a Glock 44 …way better off imo
Great option if you're in California. Glock 44 isn't on their handgun roster
Polymer slide tho
Nope, those slides crack
I have the same one, shooting lead 22 lr will foul the barrel quick.
Good to know
