Tuomas said in an intervju some time ago, that Tarja was the best interpreter of his songs and music and that she could see right thru him. Tuomas Empuu and Tarja was the founder of NW, and in the begining Tuomas wanted a acustic band, but when Tarja started to sing he had to change everything so it fitted her strong voice, and that’s why they become a symphonic metal band. And jukka on drums and Sami bas. They all was class mates, but at that time they was going in different highschools so they didn’t now how powerful Tarjas voice had become.

Everything is just in perfect harmony❤ You are correct, Nightwish has had some of the best female vocalists on this planet🥰 I love how different they all are. There were personal issues between the band members and that's why Tarja was fired. We don’t really know what issues, but we don’t need to. It was a long time ago, and all of them are happy. Nightwish is happy with Floor as their singer, and they have grown even popular. Tarja is happy with her successful solo career. Both version are good. I prefer this one, because Tarja's haunting vocals add a ghostly feel to it, and the choir and the orchestra a lot louder. You can actually hear the: "My fall will be for you - My love will be in you - If you be the one to cut me, I will bleed forver". Love that part at the end.

My favorite version of this song is Tarja's live version. I love her light, flighty vocals that hang in air. This song sounds totally different not only in Tarja and Floor's performance, but studio version is very different from live version, and it's great too. In Floor's version all emphasis is on Floor's vocals, so you can hardly hear choir and some of symphony orchestra instruments, but you can hear main vocals very well.
Yes, Golden Nightwish. This is my favorite version. I love Tarja. With Tarja I reccomend anything from End of an Era or From Wishes to Eternity concerts. Tarja also released Dark Christmas album month ago and it's fantastic. If you like opera I reccomend her O Holy Night, but Jingle Bells has the most haunting sound.
