Getting fitted this week with either 921 hot metals or sim2 or pings. First fitting since super game improvement irons from Adams in 2007. Looking forward to the shaved strokes!! Trying to break 95!
Just ordered a full set of Hotel Metal 921. Can’t wait to get them. Having tried the hot metal and pro I honestly couldn’t see why anyone would lose the forgiveness of the HM for the pro. They are basically the same in look but HM easier to hit for sure. Well impressed and best looking game improvement irons I’ve seen or gamed. The fact that they made them so easy to hit, look great and not much offset at all is just a winner for me
@@melwalker2135 taken 9 weeks but to be expected considering pandemic etc.. waiting longer than wanted but they are under the tree ready for tomorrow :-)
Well done Ali. Mizuno rarely disappoints, these bad boys were released yesterday here in the US so I can’t wait to give these a try. Keep up the good work 🏌🏻♂️
Got fitted for the 921 hot metal but have ordered the hot metal pro as I wanted a slightly smaller profile, will have them in 7 weeks 🥳 previously had mizuno Faldo ID’s that I got in 98 so due an upgrade 😊
I've got 919's and have been very happy with them. I am in the market for new a Mizunos JPX model. I'd be interested in a comparison of the 921 to the new 923 JPX Hot Metal irons. Thanks.
Need these vid reviews with mid handicappers who don’t strip it in the middle every time. I suspect the golfers watching this are not as good as this guy. That being said these videos are helpful, thanks. Maybe I will aspire to get close to this guys ability...one day
Did you ever move up? I have jpx 825 and looking to go with the 919s end of this year hoping for a price drops. Just purchased jpx hot metal sand and lob wedge to test out and plus needed new wedges so why not pair with the 825s
Maybe after 10 years the new irons may feel an hit alittle better however year to year nope want matter , we’ve tested pings an very little difference even the eye2’s hit about as good as g425’s , mizunos want make any difference. Will see.
Break the bubble guys. This new club cycle every X years is pure marketing and just I wonder what tour pros would actually play if they had a free choice.
I have the TaylorMade TourBurner irons from 2008. I love the irons, but feel at this point I can get better performance. I did a club fitting today with a Trackman, tried many iron heads and shafts, and for me the 921 was the best fit which increased my launch and decent angles and gave me another club of distance. So no hype for me, sold on the data.

Hello David did you have any issues with delivery, any hold ups etc.

Isn't the 921 Hot Metal 7 iron 1 degree stronger than the 919? I may have missed that part.

My club head speed is in the mid 70’s. How much will the distance, ball speed and angles change?
What shaft did you try in these clubs?
Very helpful. TY. Am looking to move up from my Mizuno JPX 825s.

That's why I just bought it today and hope that NSPro S 98g works for me.
What would you carry of the 921 Pro and mix with the 921HM?
Unless you are seeking an almost imperceptible size difference and less forgiveness, there is no reason to purchase the HM Pro.
Your outfit makes you look like a delivery man in overalls!
Wish you would compare the 921 with the big Bertha
Hi Ali, were the spin numbers and launch angles similar between the two clubs?
Launch very close but less spin on the 921
Why would you never show the iron looks? You just talked over it and showed your test results

I have the JPX 800’s which are about 11 years old. I hit the 921’s and it’s night and day. The 921’s are unbelievable!

Literally every comparison of the 919 and the 921 shows better performance data from the 921.

Actually Mizuno does not sponsor Tour pros and a large percentage play them anyway.
Too hot !
