    Hi Derek,
    I’ve loved the Mizuno box 850 irons I got fitted off you a couple of years ago but the new 919 look amazing.

    Another great review guys. I think it's going to be Europe because of home soil and course set up. 15-13 to Europe.

    Loving the in-depth reviews Derek! Will be interesting to see which iron will be the biggest seller in 2019 because there is so many good models out there, I’m going a win for Europe by 1.5 points! 🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺

    Really enjoyed your review and thanks for detailing the info on the wedges as well that was really useful.
    Ryder Cup.... haven't got a clue. On paper the Yanks have a stronger team, but they haven't won on European soil for years. I think that it has the potential to be another classic and I hope that Golf ends up as the winner!

      Hi Derek,
      I have just revisited this vid again, what shaft would you recommend for a Graphite shaft user with a high Ball flight?

    Thanks for this video. I really like how you when into matching shafts + shaft weight+stepped vs non-stepped to help the golfer get their desired ball flight. Is flex point relevant? Any thanks again.

    • @foregolfcustom
      @foregolfcustom  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks Ken, we believe that flex point can be a factor when working on matching up the shaft and head to the desired ball flight. We also see it being a factor when understanding the players feel of the club and how the club gets balanced to the player.

    Hi
    I wonder if you could help me.
    Can I fit a graphite shaft to a 919 hot metal head. UST Mamiya Recoil ESX 460 Graphite Shaft. Please can you advice me.

  • @littleal2483
    @littleal2483 5 лет назад +1

    I’m looking at the JPX Hot Metal Pro irons and am interested in graphite shafts, any recommendations would be appreciated. I’m look for higher launch in a low weight shaft. Great review in this video. Cheers!

    • @foregolfcustom
      @foregolfcustom  5 лет назад

      Check out the Recoil 95 graphite. Super shaft. Also try Nippon 950 lightweight steel as you might like that too. Good luck with the new irons. 👍🏻

    • @massspike
      @massspike 4 года назад +1

      @@foregolfcustom I'll second that on the 950 shafts. I am a 60+ golfer who plays a lot (to a 10 hdcp) and was suffering from distance loss :-) and wrist/elbow/shoulder pain. I ordered the HM's with 950 stiff shafts and the lower shaft weight and better spring action and have resolved both.

    Any idea when you might be getting and testing and giving your assessment of the jpx 919 hot metal pro. Am waiting to test them against the forged version as options to consider against the Mizuno mp18 sc, srixon z785..

    what about graphite shafts?

    • @foregolfcustom
      @foregolfcustom  Год назад

      Go for UST Recoil in graphite from Mizuno. Make sure you get to test a few to get the weights and flexes right. Test light weight steel too and compare feel and consistency. 👍🏻

    Will you be doing the 919 forged?

  • @Mjwest23
    @Mjwest23 6 лет назад +1

    How would these compare to the MP-18 MMC FliHi in the 4 iron?

    • @foregolfcustom
      @foregolfcustom  6 лет назад +1

      Actually quite similar although the CG will be much lower in the FliHi 4 if you’re looking for a higher flighted 4 iron that’s the one to go with. The Hot Metal 4 will play more like a 3 iron due to loft settings if you stick with standard settings. Hope that helps.
