Let it be me!!! I would love to get a binder to start my envelopes. I'm currently reusing the bank envelopes. 😂 tithing, and savings are the very first 2 items in my budget with $50 each. I also save all ones and fives, then at end of 3 months I pay off the next debt on my list. Last quarter was rocky but was able to pay off 6 debts!!!! So far this quarter, I'm at $300 saved, can't wait to see how well I've done at the end of June. 😊

Maybe because before you save you must budget and live within your means. I have NO problem with that. I have 1 credit card and hardly use it but pay it off quickly. Dont forget the library for movies/series...a lot of libraries have new dvds/blu rays for a week. Or older movies/series for more than a week. I also got games or projects there
Yes!! When my kids were younger - we were ALWAYS at the library!!!
I've used the library DVD's as a gauge to what I should just go ahead to by because of getting them so many times but of course when I could afford to buy.

We are debt free. Due to Government payments here in Australia during the pandemic and different things we had the opportunity to payout our credit cards in full in one lump sum.
And for the last year any $1 coin that has come into my possession I have put into saving my $1000 emergency fund. But I started saving my 5 cent peices and then it became all the silver..which went to Christmas and our savings has just increased from there. We just came back from a month's holiday and had received an email that we have to move house as the owner wants to move back in so now our attention has shifted to that for the moment but so happy we have savings to fall back on.

Let it Bee-me. Jen, thank you so much for your explanations. I started last August and was $44,000 + in debt. Tracking my spending on everything (credit card statements have been so illuminating!) has been key for me. I’ve still got $20k left to go but putting money aside for Christmas and Birthdays, the accountant, TAXES etc have kept me going.
It’s the very first time in my 33 year marriage that we have filed our taxes, had money in the bank to pay the accountant and the taxes due.
Before, I felt like I was lurching from taxes to summer vacation to school fees to Christmas and birthdays and never getting ahead.
You made the comment to not ignore the $20. $20 every pay period (every other week here) is $520. $500!
I feel like expense tracking and cash stuffing are setting me free from this endless cycle of money worrying. Thank you thank you thank you for your hard work in these videos. So appreciate the motivation.
