Hi Jenn. My mom told me about your channel and I want you to know how much this video has helped me start to get on track. I’ve been unemployed for 6 months, so you can imagine I might be behind and not have a lot to save. So thank you for making me feel less alone ❤
Hi Nicolle! So glad to have you with us! We are ALL getting started, learning together and making progress! 2SB is all about motivation and inspiration- I’m so happy you found that here! 💛 Keep us posted on how you are doing!
OMG! You hit it on the nail with this one. Everything you stated was directly toward me. LOL!!! I'm on a payment plan with my utilities company right now. I work over time at work. But to be honest. I'm getting burn out on overtime physically and mental. I work from 9am to 11pm TWTH. Plus switch off on the weekend with my co-worker. I need to start making Breakfast for myself and stop going to dunkin donuts or the bagel stores in the morning. That's $7 or 8$ in my pocket to save. Now my Tax returns goes into my saving account for a raining day. I can't give up my lawn man. I'm at that age in which I can't do it no more. Ok, I will sit down and look over my expensive some more. I can do this. Thank you for the support.
You sound like you are doing everything right! Pat yourself on the back and make sure to keep your mental health up! Do small things for yourself that keep you going- paint your nails, soak your feet- skip the bagel shop one day and get a nice face mask instead. You’ll feel better and you’ll find it easier to keep plugging along! You’re doing great! 💛💛💛
This was so helpful. It is hard but the worst is feeling you're alone in being crushed by the overwhelm of being behind. Thank you for the time and tips.
Great video. On my journey, I have found it remarkable how people feel they NEED all of those things, that they have to get rid of temporarily. You gave some great examples of things people pay for where they could save money by doing them themselves. After a job loss, before covid of my spouse, and then, once I lost my job because of covid cut backs, we stopped doing a good deal of things, AND learned that we didn't really need them. We became more purposeful with our purchases and we went to using CASH only. Great video.

Instead of waiting for a tax refund, withhold the correct amount in the first place and have more money each month. Why let the government use your money all year. For those that are on Earned Income Credit, did you know you can get that credit each month? This adds money to your budget as well. In all my years doing payroll, only one person ever took advantage of that program but it makes a huge difference. My situation is a little different. I rent and my living situation I don't have the luxury of cooking I buy food ready to eat at least 4 times a week. I haven't found a video to help with that type of situation. 😢
I have lived in a hotel for extended periods- my husband’s job required travel. We purchased a small room size fridge- and used electric skillets, crock pots and air fryers to make our food. Even my youngest daughter- right now she has no access to a kitchen. She bought a room size fridge and a microwave. She said that alone has saved her so much $ since she bought them. Thanks for the great ideas! I do have a question though...after you get the credit card paid off, would it be wise to cancel that credit card? Would it hurt my credit score if I did this?
There are so many variables with that question. It depends on how much credit history you have built up, which card it is ( it’s age), your current score- so much falls into that. But I will tell you what I would do - to be safe. If that card has no annual fee- pay it off and just don’t use it anymore ( if that’s your goal) I recently closed two cards ( one was my oldest credit history card) and I was nervous about that BUT it had an annual fee and a high interest rate. They were not willing to waive the annual fee or lower interest - so I canceled it. My credit score is still perfectly fine- it had no impact. BUT- I have a long credit history, no negative marks, a mix of different types of credit, etc … all the things they want. If you are still building credit or still working on your score- I would not advise closing it. That’s just my opinion- I only can tell you what my experience has been over time and what I have seen happen in different situations. Good job for deciding to pay off debt!! 💛💛💛
Hey Jenn… with my tax refund I was gonna pay off a big debt that will help extremely… would you recommend doing that or using that big amount to get caught or up and a little ahead? Thank you
Hi Jess! If you follow Dave Ramsey’s baby steps, that would be the best thing- in my opinion. Step 1. Have a 1,000 emergency fund Step 2. Pay off ALL debt except house So, to answer your question, as long as you have the $1000 emergency fund, pay your debt off. I hope that helps you and I am so proud of you for using your money responsibly and to place yourself in a better position for your future! Awesome!! 💛💛💛
Hi there! I assume if you have things in collections - they are things you can live without. I’m not sure but I assume that. If these are things that are on your credit report- I would suggest calling and making those payment plans that you can afford. There is a lot that goes into that though so I would Google or watch YT videos on how to deal with collection accounts. I just know from experience, hitting them head on is the best way to move forward. I actually have been wanting to do a video on credit repair. I fixed my own credit years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. Keep an eye out for that but in the meantime- get as much info as you can on credit repair and how to deal with collection accounts. Good luck and i wish you the best! 💛💛💛
My thing is now not having enough money to do my binder or saving, not having money at all or if I'm able to put money in then something comes up I'll have to go Right back & get the money I put in my binders 😩
I know exactly what you mean. That always seems to happen- as soon as you get ahead, here comes something else. Don’t get frustrated - keep your head up and continue to do the right thing. I always have said - no matter how tough times got for me, God always took care of me and never left me to suffer. I definitely had to struggle here and there and there were some CLOSE calls but I always found a way- and you will, too! 💛💛💛
Biggest money waster today?? Subscriptions!! People sign up and then forget about them. Meanwhile, those companies NEVER forget to take money from them automatically every single month.
I have been there- so many times throughout my life. Get the goal- the BIG one in your head. Is it a home purchase? Is it to be debt free? Post clip art on your fridge, your mirror, in your car, at work to remind yourself. THEN pick one small attainable goal- save $100. Just $100. Start with that. And keep going! Each win will bring you to your next win. Keep watching cash stuffers and also watch Joshua Becker on YT. I recently found him and I love his messages. Surround yourself with positivity. Positive people. Friends that are going places. Family that is supportive. You can do this!! 💛💛💛 We will help!
@2SisterBees thank you for your motivation. I watch these videos from other stuffers where they say they are so far in debt, but yet they have all this fancy stuff. I need reality type videos. I have thought of making a channel with my struggles just to show reality and hopefully earn a few extra bucks.
I do stuff like justplay, shopkicks, S'mores, mistplay, inbox dollars, mypoints and other such game apps that pay you to play or do whatever. It takes time for the money to add up. I turn points/money into Amazon gift cards. That gives me gift cards for wants. Oh and Fetch, hog receipts and other scan your receipt apps.
I made the calls,,,,,,got almost all my bills lowered......thank you so so much

Absolutely!!! And those little forgotten dings are the ones that cause big trouble! 🙈

My problem is that im not very patient. I want it all paid off and fixed yesterday. Im trying to learn to be patient but its hard.
We will help!
Every. Little. Bit COUNTS! Yes!! Keep at it! 💛
Omg girl the clips you insert are hilarious 😂 thanks for the freebie 🤍
Haha! Glad you like them! 🤣
