But it's Pacino's epic rants & his channeling into madness that I always give accolades too but he can be very funny too but I actually liked him & Adam Sandler together lol but with Robert De Niro I thought his funny side was actually really funny especially in the Meet the Fockers but all in all they both are simply the best!
Robert De Niro, 1,000%. Of course Al Pacino has an amazing repertoire, but he hit a point in his career where he essentially played the same “shouty”, overacting character, starting around Scent Of A Woman.
Excuse me!! Why wasn't ANALYZE THIS included in Robert De Niro's "funny moments" list? Are you guys professionals or not? There is no way that the comedy round goes to Al Pacino. Overall, De Niro has played more roles where he disappeared completely. In contrast, I've never experienced Al Pacino as a different character. Always, it's Al Pacino doing a Pacino impersonation of some character. Paino's work is entertaining, while De Niro's is often mesmerizing.
@@dillinger445 - In Scarface, I saw and heard nothing but Pacino doing a caricature of a drug crazed sociopath. He Pacino-ed that character portrayal up to his eyeballs. I've seen Pacino perform live on stage and he resorted to the same canned mannerisms and bombastic delivery. It's not that he isn't interesting as an actor. It's that he's interesting at being this Pacino guy play-acting other guys. The only movie that Pacino somewhat pulled away from his Pacino shtick was Christopher Nolan's brilliant INSOMNIA and I attribute that the Nolan's uncanny ability to strip artifice away from actors even in movies dealing with the fantastical.

De Niro should win cos of Godfather II and winning that Oscar.
De Niro also had Scorsese and has the most iconic films.
Pacino took risks more cos he found it difficult to get roles.
Dang I like them both always have lol 😆 but Al Pacino & Robert De Niro has also done at least 4 films together & Heat is one of my favorite movie of all time & quite honestly they both are equals too me!
Paino's work is entertaining, while De Niro's is often mesmerizing.
pacino wasnt pacino in scarface.. stop it
@@dillinger445 - In Scarface, I saw and heard nothing but Pacino doing a caricature of a drug crazed sociopath.
@@eme.261 yeah , but you can always say that, about everybody.. de niro, he deniro-ed the character of raging bull also then. i dont think thats how it works, but its whatever.. i dont see much too much pacino in tony montana, he walks different, he talks different, he looks different, his whole presence is different in scarface.. now if you like gangster personas or not is another thing.. if it would be a shakespeare drama you would accept it more, im pretty sure..
@@dillinger445 - Your assumption about my taste is hilarious 😂. My, how very telling of your own pretensions.
You've taken offense at my opinion of Pacino's acting and so you found it necessary to attack me personally. How very emotionally immature and petty. Considering the lack of caliber of your mentality, it would be silly of me to continue any type of dialogue with you. Adieu.
@@eme.261 haha what? i think you read too much into my response 😂😂 we still talking about movies right? 😂 nobody gets offended, nobody feels personally attacked.. chill LOL .. you saw scarface as a caricature of a gangster persona only. i see it as a character drama.. thats all 😙.. but to me rambo 1 is a character drama aswell, and not only a action movie. sopranos is a family series not just a mob series.. you just cant relate i guess
I'm a De Niro guy for sure, but Al Pacino will always be a legendary name in the acting world as well. And I've gotta say something about it, it's Jake lamotta. Not jack, for shame.
Deniro is 7 Noms. Pacino 9 Oscar Noms. But Pacino just made half the Movies of Deniro. Also Pacino got 8 Oscar noms for the first 16 Movies he did
I love your disclaimer
Rocky and Bullwinkle is a cameo buffet.
Like... Maybe they owed cameos on last contracts... But it's crazy.
How tf did you miss Heat in iconic roles?
I agree... and I desagree 😅 both amazing, and scarface is one of my best films ever
I love Pacino but honestly, based on the categories chosen, this should've been De Niro in a landslide
No mention to Once Upon a Time in America?
cheapshot , i dont condone violence but will smith standing up for his ailing wife was still respectable.
he was laughing until that bald head hoe looked all butthurt....I wonder if she cucked him again that night.
His wife he defended who cheated on him?
@@radentstwo9793 If you say so, i was not in that relationship with them so i have no opinions on it.
@@wiredcoffee9347 his wife admitted to his face that she cheated and didn’t even care lol. He literally laughed at Chris Rock’s joke and then pretended to be mad, he was a pussy for that. He also made bald jokes in his past and when people got mad at him, he said “stop being so sensitive guys”
@@WiredLain_ Doesn't change how i feel about the act. i care little about the behind the scenes of celebrities. i understand some people place a lot of value in these things and i don't intend to belittle those people, I just don't have the same interests.
De Nero just BARLEY scrapes by ahead of Pacino for me based on The Deer Hunter by itself. Its a grand masterpiece of cinema history and is a grand slam by Robert his acting in that movie solidifies my decision. BARELY cause Pacino has some masterpieces of cinema too.
I love both actors and I think I love Al Pacino more but I do agree that Robert de Niro is the better actor but I think it's funny how you had to give two Al Pacino that belong the other way around just to keep Al Pacino in The running
Don't get how Pacino won for comedy
Two Great actors however I do think the scoring appeared to be reversed, perhaps a Robert De Niro fan did the scores or trying to start debate in comments? Al Pacino was robbed of the win in my books.
Okay. for me in the 70s. both were equal.Thought they were both great in Heat.. Later on, De Niro started getting less interesting to watch, and it seemed Pacino passed him by. Although I prefer the later Al of films like Donnie Brasco, instead of Scent of a woman. . It wasn't until the final sequence of The Irishman, that De Niro showed he still had it.
Pacino kinda wins though. Just watch the end of Heat.
IKR... let their only actual face off be the determining factor lol
For me, De Niro wins too. Al Pacino has been doing Al Pacino for far too long. I’m tired of his screaming
10:36 I Agree
All I gotta say is I wish neither of them touched those bargain bin dumpster fires, neither needed the paycheck
