So Purkh is a long shabad written by Guru Ram Das that has power to elevate your marriage, relationship, friendship, and yourself if it so happens that you run into dark and murky waters and are not sure how to come back or whether you can even get over it.
Sweet and loving lady, i have since discovered that i had already completed the forty days. i had miscalculated, i had missed jotting down three days. i am still doing it. today i felt the power and majesty of the Lord, his presence in my heart brought tears to my eyes, and i realised he had forgiven me for the faults i had made in regard to my son. i have no words to describe the power of this prayer. Hello. I am wondering, does it matter if you repeat the mantra (shabad) in English or the original tongue? Is repeating it in English as effective? Many Thanks!
Hi Angie. Yes it does matter. Gurumukhi is special language and to recite it in the way Guru Ram Das wrote it, word for word is what creates the special vibration that will permeate your radiant body and help the others. I always read the english translation at the end of my 11 receptions and after some time I get the feeling that i completely understand the Gurumukhi words.

Yes Katy that is absolutely right. While you move you loose some of the concentration. However we are all regular people who live in regular life with jobs and families, sometimes the time is just not there and it is always better to chant it while walking than not to do it at all. So Purkh vibration is so powerful, You can just play it (not even chant it) in your home and it will raise the vibration and elevate the interpersonal relationships in it. Sat Nam.

Melissa Solley hi Melissa. Once you finish your 11 repetitions a day, you can chant it as many times as you want it. I would just treat these 11 repetitions as one segment. Keep it up and much love to you.

I completed 40 days and at the end of 40 days something that I can define "the miracle" has happened. The Karma/combat between two families is ended and finally the peace came. All of us are in shock. Thank you for sharing this miracle Shabat.

Feya Astera hi Feya. I think it is excellent idea to practice this mantra in the beginning of relationship so that you can can clearly see each other instead of your past karmas. You can any 3 men you like you don't even have to know them. Or you can do it just for one men or woman.

Hy zita, I nearly finished 40 days, and day before yesterday, that boy suddenly msged me and I said sorry to him, now because of this mantra I feel less guilty and my pain is much better than before. Hi there lovely day, So purkh has helped me with my beautiful son, so much. It is so much easier between us now. Now, I did eighty so purkh for him, and I wondered whether I can continue with so purkh, and if it will maintain the wonderful results, perhaps not doing it quite as much, as in forty times, but let us say when I have time, or can? My health has been poor recently so I did not feel to do it, antibiotics etc. tired me out. But I want to begin again. Or is there another mantra that can maintain the high vibration between us? If you have time I would appreciate advice.

Hello thank you for this beautiful shabad. I have been doing this for my son, due to his traumatic childhood. I lost his father in a terrible accident as a young woman, and as a result he suffered because i had a breakdown. I feel so sorry about that and have been trying to heal our relationship for a long time. My son is now a man, and he suffers still as a result of this loss, and my breakdown. I have been doing this for twenty one days, but it seems things are getting worse for my son, as he is having bad memories. i am going with the shabad, but my question is do things sometimes get worse before they get better?

i got to the 38th day and fell ill with a high temperature. i fell into a deep sleep and missed so purkh that evening. please don't tell me all those days of doing the prayer don't count. i have seen such vast improvements between me and my son it has been miraculous. i am putting that day down to illness and am continuing on.. to forty days. is that okay? thank you so much for this prayer it s changing my life. @@ZitaHarkaran
madelena1234 hi Madelena would you consider going for another 40 days or even 90? It would help your son so much. Answer: No, all the 38 days were not wasted but in order to reestablish new pattern - 40 days has to be completed continuously. After all what is another 40 days in the scope of a lifetime? I would say give it a little more time it seems that he needs it. It will heal you as well.

I need some advice: Sometimes when I recite it, I happen to have some shots of sleep, from which I recover instantly, in these cases, what to do? Continue to recite it from where I remember I interrupted, or shall I start from the beginning of the mantra (shabat)?

Hi Anna, I would start from the beginning of the shabat. That's how you make sure that you are not missing out anything. And also please know every time you fall asleep in meditation it is a deeply healing sleep.

xausyy everyone can pronounce it. It takes a little while to get used to it that is for sure but if you do it slowly patiently it will start rolling off you tongue.

Hello Zita. I have done so purkh a few times all 40 day sadhana. It showed me the same thing how in my past life I have been unkind and rejected a man I should have been with many times and because of this he is not willing to move forward in this life. Germa Dadurkeviciute if he is not willing to move forward, there will be someone else. Ask for forgiveness and move on. It’s hard to tell whether this would work since you have done it already. Focus on yourself and God, meditate on humility, karma, heart center, gratitude, purity and everything will come to you.

You can do it at any time of the day. Recite the whole mantra 11 times. It usually takes about 30 minutes.
I have got to the second round of so purkh for my son. Would you believe it, I got a major attack of the flu, exactly like what happened at the end of the last round. Only this time I did not fall into a coma, and tomorrow is the last day. Just a question, I have noticed some stunning changes doing so purkh My son told me "I don't know why mamma but I feel great when I am with you. Not like in the past. You have changed!" The question is could this flu attack, exactly the same flu as I said, at the end of the last forty day round, be karma and inner issues trying to block the healing?

Dear and lovely lady. You were right, we needed a bit more than 40 rounds. He has started meditating. When he gets one of his bad moods he apologises. I want to continue I don't want to bother you but there are other people in my life who need these prayers. You say it is okay to do it for three, but will the prayer dissipate if I do it for three people? My son, my daughter in law and a male friend,, a farmer who is on the edge of failure due to a black beetle invasion of his crops? Sorry to bother you, I just would love to have confirmation from you. This prayer proves the existence of the Lord.

Yes you do need to start over again. The time between day 31 and 38 is usually the most dangerous zone.
Most likely you need to recite it longer to clear the energy

@@marianacarranza2431 it’s a danger zone for skipping the day. Many people skip day just few days before they completed 40 days. You have to start from beginning from day 1. Sorry but also this is such a good mantra it will help you in many other aspects in life. It’s going to have lasting effects.

Muskan Gumber Sat Nam. All you need to do is to hold the person in your mind at the end of the recitations. Few seconds is enough because spirit works fast. And even if you don’t think of any specific person - all your relationships with get bette rand smoother. I think this shabad will create wonderful change in your relationship.

With that said you can place a prayer to God may your beloved come to you. Take care of yourself, do yoga, meditate, chant (anything) generally raise your vibration and the right bf will come your way. Trust.

Hi thank you for your videos. It really helps us. Im a new sikh and I do not understand much because resources are hard to find in English. I am interested in reading and repeating scriptures like so purakh and chanting etc. But where do I find all these words? Also I need guidance on rituals and pujas I can do at home. Right now I have no sikh methods or tools to ground me n to channel blessings that I want. So please can you advise?
