    The other day I went into some Mexican restaurants as an ordinary guy and ordered food in fluent Spanish (Mexican accent). It was a really fun prank and social experiment to see these people’s reactions. The staff and the other patrons in these Mexican restaurants were totally shocked!
    In this video I will also show you how to order food in Spanish like a native (and surprise the restaurant employees!) Let me know which of the dishes I ordered you would most like to try in the comments. Thank you for watching, you're awesome :) New videos every Saturday.

    Hola, I'm Nate. I used to not know any Spanish at all, and I had no interest in learning the language. I thought learning Spanish would be boring, a waste of time, and would provide no value to my life. Then I started taking Spanish classes in high school and everything changed for me. I struggled with learning the language a lot at first, but thanks to my teachers and my Spanish speaking friends, they helped make the learning process fun. Within a few months, I had gotten to a conversational level, but more important, I had become a more confident person. The real win for me, though, was the friendships I made and strengthened. I discovered that not only did I have higher self esteem, but being out in the real world with people, whether old friends or new ones I met, made me feel more alive and connected with the world around me. Now it's my goal to create videos that make you smile and inspire you to learn Spanish or another language!

    At this point Nate you have litteraly passed level 100 of Spanish, because you're surrounded by Mexicans that are there to help you, you're surrounded by everything that has to do with Spanish. Look at yourself! Your Spanish is so darn good. 9 years of studying Spanish and you are as fluent as a native speaker. Holy crap, I am astonished indeed. Well done Nate, y espero que algún día hablaré como tu 😀

    This is a major learning opportunity. Either you telling us what you're going to say beforehand and what you're expecting. Or telling us afterwards, or even doing post commentary (most amount for work for you I guess) on what's going on during that scene.
    Just for the few key moments in a video

    Hey Nate, I have a question - when you're ordering things, should you use tu or usted? Does it only depend on how old you think the person looks? What do you do to determine this? Also, when referring to your parents, which do you use?

    • @SpanishWithNate.
      @SpanishWithNate.  Год назад +2
