I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Oh please never stop your fragrance videos! I have bought so many that you have recommended and we definitely have the same “nose” for fragrance notes! I live in a smaller town in the US, so usually my niche fragrances have been blind buys until I found your channel! Now I can say “If Charlotte loves it, I will too!” Much safer and less expensive that way!
I myself have fallen down the rabbit hole of niche fragrances and they bring me so much joy! I’ve accumulated a vast collection and I’m a fan of most of the fragrances you reviewed on this video but my all time favorites from my collection is Ateliers des Ors Lune Feline, Rosendo Mateu 5, Nishane Ani and Tiziana Terenzi Arrakis.

I love watching fragrance videos especially niche. Your top picks are excellent and very popular indeed. I want to expand more on my Initio collection. I have quite a few xerjoff. But I am still planning to slow down on my perfume purchases. Yeah, I can’t use them all and no where to wear them for a while now.

I really adore fragrances as well. I've kept many of my favorite scents, the bottles over the years. I have a few or so from 10-15 years ago and some are discontinued so I'll go in the back of my closet and smell them (I always leave a little at the bottom) and it brings me so much joy. Here's a niche brand recommendation based in the Lake District, UK. The brand is called Bath House. I have Patchouli & Black Pepper, Velvet Orchid & Cardamom, Faith Is (contains oud and saffron!!!), Climbing Trees, and Frangipani & Grapefruit. Love them all, and they do samples... highly recommend! Reasonably priced too 💗

I totally agree with you on Mancera's 'Red Tobacco'. It's a beast. At first on me there's an incredibly strong medicinal cherry cough syrup edge to the sweet tobacco but once that dissolves it's really fascinating in profile. Oddly enough despite my fears of it being too polarising and alienating for the general public mid afternoon, it always inspires compliments from men. I have no idea what they are connecting to but this one mesmerises them. If someone finds this one too much and would like a gentler more 'damp sweet pipe tobacco' smell, may I recommend 'Late Harvest' by Fort & Manle. I'd sweep every single F & M fragrance into my shopping basket in multiples right now...if only their performance wasn't so legendarily poor. I love every single thing Rasei Fort comes out with, he's a genius. However, he just cannot make fragrances that perform well. They're insipid and it makes me so frustrated, seriously, to think of. Harem Rose?! I mean holy smokes 😍😍😍. All of them. Oh whyyyyyy Rasei, whyyyyyyyy?!😥
I haven’t explored a lot of niche fragrances but I’m always interested I love perfumes so much! Great video Charlotte and awesome picks 💕 I agree the 540 is divine but I prefer the extrait version it’s stays more on me 😊
I love Red Tobacco. It’s such a unique scent. I never hear anyone talk about it, so I was excited to hear your mention of it. I also now know, we probably have similar tastes in scents so definitely taking notes!!

Great video Charlotte!! I’m getting back into fragrances and I used to wear perfume allllll the time years ago!! Starting back though and I looooove all the boozy, amber, wood, leather, smoke scents and I must be overpowering people because I wear it all year round! I swear years ago I had never heard of people wearing certain fragrances for seasons and I’m talking 20 plus years ago. But I wear what I like.
Fun thing you might enjoy: I went to France in high school and at the time JOY parfum was one of the highest priced thst you could get and I was determined to get some. Well I got a bottle and absolutely loved it but didn’t use it a lot because I didn’t want to use it up. I still HAVE IT!! And it still smells just like I remember!!!🤣🤣🤣 38 years later!!!
Also went to Fragonard Perfumeries which was a very popular perfumery at the time!
I mean, your fragrances are out of my league but I sure would love to try them. Might get some decant samples on Etsy or eBay. My absolute faves right now are By the Fireplace, of course and Juliette Has a Gun Midnight Oud🤤🤤🤤
I absolutely love Angel's share. Another love for me is Chai from Barruti. Used it yesterday and I can still smell it today. Not for the faint of heart, not a crowd pleaser, but I love it so much. I'm just a bit sad that my son absolutely hates it.
Angels Share is one of my favorite scents. I always get compliments when I wear it. Love the cognac story behind the scent

I feel I’m very basic with my fragrances and only in the last few years started investing in fragrances. I love Armanis ‘Si’ as an everyday fragrance, and I love love love Whispers in the Library by Maison Margiela (and By the Fireplace of course). Tom Fords Tobacco Vanille and Black Orchid were splurges this year and I def want to try more Killians!!! I love these videos cause they give me direction on what I might want to try and I feel I have a somewhat similar taste to yours in fragrance. Thanks Charlotte!!!
Fantastic video! I adore the Baccarat Rouge (I only have testers) but I go nose blind about two minutes after spraying it on me. Can’t smell it at all! It makes me 😭😭😭. After seeing your initial review of Oud for Greatness I ordered some samples and I can wait to try them. As a Texas girl I’m in love with my D.S. & Durga El Cosmico. It smells like the West Texas desert that I love so dearly and love to photograph. ❤️

Oooooo I love these videos , thank you Charlotte, they make my heart happy. I weirdly can’t wear Initio perfumes at all. They smell oddly medicinal and bitter on me. However Killian fragrances smell like hugs, both Angels Share and Straight to Heaven Crystal. 🥰🥰

Are you in the escentual scents perfume sample club? Every month they sell a themed perfume sample box, this month it was rose and march it will be iris I think. There are 8 samples in the box only identified by letters so you don't know what's inside. You get to try them all month and then on the last Thursday of the month there will be an hour long live reveal and discussion about the perfumes (and about perfumery in general) in the Facebook group. You get an invite to that group when you get a box. The value of the box (£19.99) is given back as points that you can use to redeem against anything on the website. They do stock Intio and Parfum de Marly. It's a very nice way to smell new scents without buying a full bottle and maybe discover something new. I also have too many perfumes...

I love niche fragrances. I recently bought samples of the Initio oud for greatness it’s gorgeous, I totally agree with the lasting power of it. I could smell it all day and again the following day. I also bought a sample of the Oajan by pdm that is so beautiful. My favourite fragrances were and still are kilian vodka on the rocks and Love don’t be shy. But I now need a bottle of the Initio Oud in my life as I think that will be my number 1 as like you say it’s perfect all year round

Out of those you showcased, which ones would fall into my preference if you don’t mind me asking ? Escale A Portofino by Dior is one of my faves.

I love your fragrance videos and I hope you continue to make them despite the lack of views. I've heard such good things about Side Effect that I ordered a sample before I made the hefty purchase. Unfortunately for me, all I could smell was a burning, peppery hellscape. I even contacted the seller to ask if there was a mistake because what I smell and what is described by everyone else is so completely and utterly different. I don't understand. The only thing I can think of is that I has Covid in 2020 and my sense of smell has never been the same and perhaps that altered something. It makes me so sad because I'm always on the hunt for a good boozy fragrance.

For whatever reason, they do not last on me at all. I’ve got one that’s been discontinued that I love so much. Bond No. 9 New York Oud. It is so weird and addicting to me.

I am SO surprised that fragrance perfumes tank!! I always look out for them. Initio Mystic Experience is a new top five from watching, reviewing pages and listening to notes! So goog blended with weaker vanilla notes!!!
I am just learning about fragrances also, so listening to you is fun anyway, but I am learning so much! The Italica looks promising must go to Saks Fith Ave and check it out first, the Baccarat Rouge is fantastic, so agree. I am really starting to get away from the "sweet wine" like a teenager, and start learning the in's and out's of fragrances. I appreciate these video's, so thank you for doing them.

My journey for it started last Fall and finally it is home with me. I am intoxicated by it........if you love gourmands......this is your scent. My husband loves it too. Almond heavy to my nose. :)

I’m enjoying Ex Nihilo Explicite, which is a very different scent than the soft florals I’ve gravitated toward in the past.
Have you tried Dyptique Eau Duelle? It’s beautiful and I think it may be right up your alley. Also Contre Moi by Louis Vuitton is a fabulous scent as well.
I’ve only just clicked play and my wallet’s hurting already. My fragrance tastes are very much in line with yours and I always end up buying one after you do a fragrance video. 😅. My most recent purchase was Initio side effect.
Before that it was Killian Angel’s Share.
I also just got a sample of Parfums de Marly Oajan and that was next on my list to buy. 😅
Very sad you say your fragrance videos get less views because they're my favorite. I'm fragrance obsessed. We have dissimilar taste for the most part but that's cool. I think you have a great list for people who prefer those type of scents. But not completely different - Spirituese Double Vanille would make my top 10 and I'm wearing Angel's Share today. Have you tried PDM Herod or Oajan? If not I think you might like.

i tried Angel Share last week and it smelled so yummy like Apple Pie it was real yummy to me. I also tried Baccarat Rouge 540 but it was very ghostly on me and didnt last very long. I do want to try the Jeroff perfumes though

I usually like fruity perfumes but after I got to know about Angels' share thanks to you I took a dove into gourmand / wintery fragrances. After testing so many I came to a conclusion that I am not into deep and sultry scents but that Angels' share is just a masterpiece. 😂

Love side effect, love baccarat rouge, love spirituese double vanille. Hated Angels Share. You will love baccarat rouge extrait and I think you will also love Tiziani Terenzi Delox which is a gorgeous scent but somewhat subdued in comparison to the aforementioned. Kilian intoxicated is quite lovely too. Charlotte please pick up kayali vanille 28, it’s not a kick in the arse away from guerlain sdv the only noticeable difference is sdv is sweeter, I’ve gone through 70ml of kayali in 4months and I’m going to have to buy a backup soon xo
Have you ever tried anything from Arabian Oud? I fell in love with Rosewood from them and bought it around Christmas. But they have a lot of wonderful Oud scents.

oooohhhh.. i wonder if our tastes are similar to some extent. I love Initio’s Rehab, Psychedelic Love, OfG and occasionally Side Effect and High Frequency. The others I adore are Xerjoff Naxos, Penhaligon’s Halfeti Leather, Tom Ford Black Orchid and Lost Cherry, and Kilian’s Roses on Ice 😍😍😍 I’m wondering abt Fragrance du Bois’ Cavort but the decant I got doesn’t quite last beyond 4hrs on my skin 🤨

I am 9 months pregnant and as a side effect of my pregnancy I cannot use just any perfume. My preggo brain has decided that niche is where it’s at and that I sure do deserve a perfume a month- including at the beginning when I felt nauseous (thanks Byredo Bal D’Afrique for saving the day). The one perfume that is gone that I can not replace in my collection is Clinique Simply- not niche, but very special, great silage and lasting power on me, I really miss that smell. I love your fragrance videos, Charlotte, thank you!
I couldn't stand most fragrances when I was pregnant, including most soaps and fabric conditioners 🤮. Thankfully, everything returned to normal when I delivered, so just hang in there!!

I’ve got initio atomic rose on its way to me, I toyed between that and oud for greatness but I’m not a huge oud lover and given the price I didn’t dare but now I’m second guessing, oh well perhaps next month

I love niche. I love Kilian's Angel Share and Initio Rehab! I also own MFK BR 540....but I don't love it. I do love MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold and Oud Satin Mood!!! Those two are top five for me.
I tried Guerlain's Double Vanille and it smelled like medicine to me 😢 😭 I really wanted to love it.
I have recently bought some more Nishane Wulong Cha, Tuberoza. I love Mancera Red tobacco, I love tobacco in a fragrance Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. My favourite perfume in my collection is Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanille but this could change, I love perfumes with incense, Roos Roos Mentha Religiosa is amazing and I got a bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier Le belle la perfume from my other half's sister for Christmas, beautiful and moreish and is so incense smelling not listed in the notes but JPG never lists them all I suppose to stop dupes from being made of it. I want to get Guerlain (my favourite house) Angelic Noir which is divine had a decant of it need a full bottle, €290 a bottle worth it though, I can live on beans lol I also have MDCI Le belle Helénè on my wish list.
I love your fragrance videos and recommendations. I’ve been dying to try Killian Angels share but didn’t want to shell out that much money without smelling it first. I was very excited when Sephora offered it and a smaller size and I purchased it right away! I love the smell of it but I don’t feel that it lasts on me.You’ve mentioned that it’s a very long lasting fragrance; do you think it’s possible the formulation in the smaller size is a little bit different and that’s why it’s not lasting on me? Try oajan by parfums de marly, it’s like a much longer lasting perfume than angel share but with a similar vibe 🙌
I have found that none of Killians’ last long on me as well. It’s sad to me. Also Byredo doesn’t last an hour for me. Good luck! 🤗
Mine lasts a long time. Make sure to spray on your clothes so that you’ll smell incredible even longer.

Interesting video, wish I had £250 to drop on a bottle of perfume. I love fragrance but not enough to spend that much on a bottle. To receive nice fragrances for special occasions is lovely, but for myself buying myself Chanel I feel guilty lol
