This is beautiful! My amazing Mom passed away. This was her favorite song. So this song is very special to me.
I have been going through a very tough time in my life. When I get down I need some uplifting. I turn to my heritage and the Jewish songs of my youth. The music of the anthem is highly inspired from music found in Romanian folklore in Moldova. Romania and Moldova (and Eastern Europe) has been home for many Jews, because they were much more tolerant than their Western neighbors where Jews have been persecuted.
Therefore Moldova will be remembered forever ❤️
