The Most Famous Adon Olam in Israel

- As we bring Israel Week to a close, here is perhaps the most famous tune for Adon Olam ever, composed by Uzi Hitman (1952-2004). I was fortunate to collaborate with Uzi, a secular Jew who was very proud of his contribution to Jewish liturgical music.
Years ago, when I sang it to soldiers all over Israel during my IDF service, they enjoyed singing along. Nowadays, people hum this tune on their way home from Shabbat services. Wishing you all a Shabbat Shalom - Видеоклипы
I grew up in England and loved these wonderful prayers. I live in Israel now. The people here are so brave. Older men with families have volunteered for the army. They have all gone to fight for our country.
wishing you well from back in London UK
Coming back to this for a bit of comfort in this difficult time, am Israel chai ✡️
Uzi Chitman died too soon, but he left us with this beautiful melody.
What a wonderful voice! I am very moved. Am Israel Chai!
English/Spanish speaker here, trying to learn this beautiful and touching song.
"God was. God Is, always will be glorious in eternity!" Amen!
That is Yeshua HaMeshiach and he is coming back for us, his people, Israel of God.
Amen in Jesus Christ name Amen Shalom
@@catherinethomas1276God is only Hashem in the Torah, jesus is a fictional god you made , christianity is paganism idol worshipers , you worship a man who died
God is eternal , unchanging and doesn't need yo become a man , we don't want you in Israel , Israel is the holy land of jews ✡️✡️✡️ not paganism
Cest fabuleux, extraordinaire ! Je suis très émue de cette prière : de ces merveilleux texte, musique, voix, interprétation... Merci, gloire au Seigneur, amen ! ❤
I'm listening to this beutiful song from Japan
The land where so many of our ancestors (my grandpa's family) lived and died is again being terrorized. This stunning version of Adon Olam sung by Azi when in the Ukraine is at once heartwarming and heart breaking at this time.
Every time I listen to Cantor Schwartz I want to move back to New York to join his synagogue!
Im afraid that New York is not the same and Jewish style delis are rare . Cherish the memories that you have . L Shana Tova next year in Jerusalem!
T y Azi Shwartz for your beautiful voice 🙏🕊❤️🌺❤️🕊🙏🕊🙏
I'm a muslim, i know this song because i watched Rabbi Tovia Singer to extend my knowledge of abrahamic faith. I fall in love to the opening of this song.
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Rabbi Tovia does good work. Know him from many years ago.
Careful with these Rabbis.

Israel, meu amor!! 🇵🇹🇮🇱💙🤍💙🤍
I love azi for his new musical sense and sensuality what spirit means. thank you, my dear, you spent me so much moments of new hope in my faith
Shabbat Shalom
Beautiful, he put his heart into it.
I don’t know the meaning of many of these prayers. But his voice and music are … angelic.
The words in both Hebrew and English are written right there in the video. There are other videos on RUclips featuring the same ligurgical poem (it's not really a "prayer" because G-d isn't addressed in the poem, but rather the congregation is), and you'll easily find explanations of its meaning.
İt's beautiful. Have a good days from the Czech Republik 👋🇨🇿
This is absolutely beautiful!! Thank you for sharing this with us!
Glad you enjoyed it!

This Cantor is so enjoyable to watch while he sings.
Love the arrangement- Cantor Dudu Fisher sings this melody on one of his DVDs. You are an international superstar entertaining Jews around the globe like he did when he was your age. I often listen to your magnificent voice on utube, and I have the CD from the Three Cantors performance...
I’m trying to work out the accent, is Cantor Azi originally Israeli or from elsewhere? Even though it’s sang in Hebrew this accent seems a little bit Germanic or Eastern European.
@@kingdoz he was born and raised in Israel
beautifully done. I just sing it the old fashioned way. The. Words and thoughts are what counts ! Thank u for thinking of me.
Remember singing this in my youth but certainly done more beautifully and interestingly than how we sang it back then!!
Beautiful! Thank you also to the other musicians who contributed to this performance! They are important too. Thank you Cantor Schwartz. My soul has been uplifted since I found your music 1-2 months ago.

Adon Olam
sobre él o colaborar;
Baruch Hashem! ❤
