I'm a student teacher and I am really digging your videos! I am a mature student, I'll be 42 by the time I start, and have two kids of my own. I see a lot of behavioural management stuff online that I know I just won't have my heart in if I adopted those methods. It is great to see something more my style work so well!
This video was so helpful. I teach Prekindergarten and have been for over 10 years but this last year was rough and I have had some behavioral issues. I found myself just telling them what to do all the time and frustrated that they weren't responding well. I was using treasure box rewards as a way to to encourage them to behave. This video just gives me a little reminder if why I teach and how I want them to be problem solvers and thinkers. Not just coming to class wanting treasure box. Thank you !
Thank you for putting this video together. I try to stay consistent with answering students who raise their hands, so I was not sure what to do besides praising the ones who did, and reminding/ redirecting the students who did not, without blaming. Just stating that we want to raise our hands. I will implement the comment “it’s not fair when you just shout out the answer, since that takes away from others, the time to think, so I want you to think about it, and let me know when you are ready to participate.” It’s very cool how you do not make a big deal about mistakes. It’s true, I make mistakes too, and try to own up to it to adults and students when I catch it, or when someone lets me know, and it was my slip up. I will implement the problem solving wheel too, and let them know I got it from your channel :)
I am in my first year of teaching and currently in Kindergarten. Your videos and wonderful advise have been a God sent during times I felt at a loss for solutions. I love all of your videos and hope to see you post more planning and grading/grade book videos. I look forward to Mondays to see what new insight you will share that I can make use of. You are an inspiration and success streams through your depth of knowledge and advise. Keep up the wonderful work you do!
I love that you have high expectations for your kindergarteners. I too have high expectations for my first grade students. If we don't have high expectations for our students we will never know their real potential.
I am finishing up a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and have accepted an internship for next year in lieu of student teaching. Your view of behavior management is refreshing in a world of punishment and reward. Your philosophy speaks to my soul and I feel so validated as I have cringed at the various "clipping up" and "hole punches" that I witnessed in the classrooms where I have trained. I am excited to create a classroom community similar to what you describe in my 3rd grade class in August. Thank you for your videos. I think you should have a podcast.
+Liz Rose This is so wonderful! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. So you will be teaching next year? That is fascinating. I don't think I've every heard of that! Best of luck to you.
Well said. You have a wisdom that propels the very subtle art that is teaching. And you generously pass it on to others. I salute you for that, treasured teacher! 😊

Thank you for your service to the young generation and your dedication to spreading the knowledge and tips!
I appreciate your channel so much. I start my first year teaching first grade August 1st, and I feel overwhelmed, under prepared, and NERVOUS! I felt like student teaching prepared me but I never saw any procedures at the beginning of the year , or learned how to implement classroom management. Your advice and videos are making me feel a lot better.
No worries! You have this! Feel free to ask questions at any time. The comment sections themselves can be a great place to ask questions and pick up ideas from a ton of experienced teachers :) We are all in this together!
I recently started watching your videos and I often forget you're talking about kinder! It's wonderful that you have such high expectations. I found many of your tips useful and plan to use them with my fifth graders.
+Cecilia Chalen-Rodriguez I do to. It makes it so much more authentic and they feel like they are part of the classroom and it really belongs to them. Which it should. School is no longer teacher-focused. Now we want to strive to be student-focused.
I love what you said about setting high expectations instead of making excuses. I get so many excuses from a senior teacher about the behavior of students.
You are such an amazing teacher!!! I stumbled upon your channel one day and watched all of your videos that evening. So far, I've watched several of them more than once. I really appreciate your advice and ideas. Thank you again!
I like this approach....it is how a respectful parent treats their children...so why not in the classroom? It's love and logic....it's relationship focused rather than punishment focused. I love how it focuses on moving on and so they can start to feel a sense of success, rather than punishment focused which increases anxiety or the child feeling they can never measure up and then they just give up and act out more.
I am SO glad I found your channel! I just got hired as a kindergarten teacher for next school year! This will be my first teaching job since I graduate this may :) I find your videos so incredibly helpful, so I've been watching at least one of your videos a day and taking note of important things I want to remember :)

I absolutely love this video and agree with your view points on everything!!! after following you I notice that you are moving from Kindergarten to 4th grade. It may be too soon to tell but id love a follow up video or blog. What is your behavior management plan come this new school year? What are some changes you are going to make now that you are teaching older students? and What are some things you are keeping?
I'm majoring in early childhood education, and recently found your videos. They're so inspiring!! They make me want to keep working. My mom is a teacher, too, and she's told me horror stories about problem students. Even if you set those high expectations, do you ever have children that aren't respectful or feel like they don't have to listen to you? How would you handle a child who consistently behaves like that?
Thank you so much for your comment. I most define have those kids or have had them in the past! I am planning another video very soon that talks about those specific behaviors and some ideas and tips of how to handle them in the classroom.
you are awesome!!! so calmed and organized! I work in Chile and I just have 1.30 hours a week with the kids to teach them English ... I would love to be able to be a little more like you are and not to get so tired ... I started following you just now. I repeat, you're great! and am inspiration :)
Thank you for your advice on classroom strategies. I am currently at my final year of University and during my work experience i was surrounded around teachers who only relied on sanctions such as rewards which i didn't agree with as it did not stimulate their learning. I will definitely follow these guidelines. Could you please deliver a mini session on confidence in the classroom. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this video! I'm an aspiring high school teacher, but I have an interview for a Kindergarten/Pre-K assistant teacher position on Wednesday. Because I have no experience (which is why I want the position, plus getting paid to help kids learn is awesome), I hope it's okay if I refer to your video for classroom management ideas. It's definitely an important part of teaching, so I want to be prepared for a question about it! You have calmed my nerves so much, and your passion for teaching is truly inspiring. I'm studying your videos to prepare for the interview, and am so thankful for your channel.
Yay!! So exciting! Good luck and I hope to hear back after the interview. Dress professionally, be respectful and show confidence in the discussion (not ego)! Make sure to have a few questions prepared to mix into the interview. Everyone is nervous during an interview - just tap into your passion and prepare. :) You will be great!
The Lettered Classroom I got the job!! It's in a teaching daycare facility that caters to kids from 6 weeks to 12 years old, and I could not be more excited. I feel like being around children in every age and stage of learning will be so beneficial. You were definitely correct about having questions; she really appreciated the interest! Thank you so much for the confidence boost. I thought of you the whole way through! :)
I am majoring in El. Ed, in my junior year and work at an after school, summer program. This is great information for not only my job now with my awesome afterschool kids, but also when I eventually get my own classroom. that you so much.
Thank you so much for all the tips that you have shared here. I've learned a lot of practical strategies and I can't wait to share these ideas to my colleagues. Thank you!
This is great! I never thought I would find a teaching RUclips channel that I could learn strategies from. Such a brilliant idea. I've also been keeping a teaching journal to take notes along the way of my student teaching journey and to remind myself of some notes /strategies/reflections, and I love it! I've spoken to some friends who finished their student teaching and wished they kept a journal, so I'm beginning that now and writing ideas from your videos in it. just figured I'd share with anyone who hasn't thought of this :) great video !
I'm in my final semester before student teachings, I really loved this video and I'm going to refer back to it before I get into the classroom , Thank you so much !
Gaylene Parisien It’s going really well. I taught 1st grade for 2 years, and I just finished my first year teaching 3rd Grade. I love this profession and feel honored to contribute to my community in this way !!!
I loved Your video it was really helpful, and when you were talking about the children when they were gathering around one box and not sharing the toys and how you made them realize what they did is the wrong way to share the toys was really impressive.
I like that you have good experiences with your kindergarten. I am a student, and I am studying now to be a teacher, and I love your video and how you explain strategies in the classroom, and I want to use these strategies in my class.
I just found your channel and its a life saver!! I am finishing up my student teaching and getting really nervous about setting up routines and expectations on my own. Thank you for the advice!!
Don't be nervous. Remember that you want your students to respect you. That is the most important thing. You can be caring and loving while still standing your ground and being an authority figure.
I like your car analogy. I think most of us could relate to that at some point. Good leaders should support teachers in behaviour management and adapt policies often.
you are great! I somehow stumbled across on of your videos and now I'm on a marathon watching spree. I am changing careers and currently getting alternately certified and will be in the classroom next school year. Your advice and tips are much appreciated
Yayy!! So happy to help! I did end up doing a second Behavior Video, not sure if you saw that one as well. I will probably add more as the year goes on! What grade will you be teaching?
I appreciate your video content! I liked your candid strategies and how you are keeping it real with us, that was very helpful. Also, I liked that you mention a plenty of excellent classroom management tips. I’m interested in your thoughts, and this video makes me want to become a greater teacher. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Hi :) I'm a pre-school teacher from Australia. I tried one of your strategies today in my class. We were pretending to be dinosaurs to music when four children went down on floor on their backs. I stopped the music at the end of the song and asked my class what could happen. They said the children could get hurt. One of the children, who was one floor, said a child stood on his finger. I explained that the other child was expecting you to be on floor. I then asked the children how we should dance next time and they said standing up. I'll be interested to see how they go next week. Thanks for your video :)
This video was so so helpful, I love your approach and how student focused it is. Your form of dealing with behavior really does help students practice problem solving and become a better citizen. Thank you for your ideas, I will definitely keep all these strategies in mind!
Great Video.Good learning from the video. I liked the way you look at your kids. They are going to be individuals with great values. That is our best job as teachers.
Thank you Bridget so much for your advice on behavior management! I am in my 3rd week of my credential program working in a Transitional Kindergarten classroom and majority of those students are ELL. Some of the little ones have a difficult time with basic behavioral expectations that my master teacher would have them do. I wonder if having visual cues or more specific instruction would benefit them. I'll try using your tips and see how far they go!
I have my degree in early childhood and will be interviewing soon for a position at a school. I was told as a student teacher that I have weak classroom management. I was told by my cooperating teacher to follow her rules and how she does things. That wasn't working for me, and I try other things that just didn't work either. I loved this video and feel as if this way would work well for me. Thanks for sharing. I defiantly subscribed and will be watching your videos.
+Neccie Geddings That is so great. Never just do what other teachers do because you have to find what works best for you. Every teacher teaches different. Best of luck to you!
These are great points about classroom management! High expectations are key---and more than anything, the energy and belief that your students can accomplish and meet these standards! Thank you for sharing!
Hi I am so glad that I have watched your video about classroom management and tips on handling individual students behavior. Thank you for this video. I am looking forward for more of your videos.
I love how you focus on believing that the children are capable! I look forward to more videos on specific issues. Also, would love to see some more "plan with me" type videos.
Thank you so much. Students are very capable of so many things. It's not to say they won't do it at their own time or in their own way, what matters is that they do it. I am planning on doing another plan with me soon.
Great Video! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Trentvorty Kids Science Theorem (should be on google have a look)? It is a great one of a kind guide for becoming an excellent parent minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my friend Sam at very last got amazing results with it.
I'm a trainee teacher in the UK and will be starting my first year of teaching in September. There's been a lot of negativity lately about teaching and I've been so nervous to have my own class but your videos make me so much more excited and help me realise why I decided to be a teacher. Thank you so much!! X
I suspect that the analogy is the reason why there are behaviour management issues. I see the classroom like a team and you get stronger and better over time and therefore more excited to come to the game particularly if you know you'll win. If you inspire, engage and excite your students consistently get to know them then over time there will be less and less issues and students may be excited to come and learn with you. At the end of the year I am normally having the best lessons of the year, we are functioning like a team not getting more dysfunctional.
the lengths some kids will go to get out of doing simple tasks has kind of locked up my brain a few times as a new teacher. I had a kid pretend to cry the other day because he saw I was new, he even put water on his eyes and everything. The veteran teacher i was shadowing saw right through it and after she told him to straighten up he was right back to giggling and doing the task. same with the whole bathroom truth issue.
I loved your videos, your enthusiasm is contagious.I am a para and work most specifically with behavior issues . I love your wheel idea. is there anyway to get a picture of it? I think it would work wonders in our second grade class. Thanks
hi! my name is natasha, i just graduated high school. right now i am majoring in communications at a local community college and plan on transferring to UCLA to open opportunities for me in film editing but i have always considered being an elementary school teacher. can you please do a video on how to know if teaching is really right for someone particularly at the elementary level? also, if it helps, i am an INFP and the reason i want to teach at elementary level is because i can use more of my creativity.
What about students who refuse to follow your request as you mention in one of your behaviour examples. Student calling out that you sent back to their desk. What if they won't move. Thanks :)
So I love this and completely agree with building great citizens. I know how powerful and empowering having conversations can be. How do you find time and who is monitoring your other children while you are having these conversations. Do you have kindergarten aides?
Love your video and tips The last time I was in a classroom was when I student taught. Any tips for me as I go into a classroom after 26 years Thank you-Louise
Thank you so much for this video! I`m brazilian and I`m a Dance Teacher at a Public School. This is my first year teaching and it`s been very hard! You just gave me so many GREAT tips and advices. I wish I could skype you to talk even more, but i`m glad I have your videos to help me :)
How would you send out the monthly behaviour chart on a daily basis and involve the parents? Parents from less affluent households often don't have the internet, nor do they have the time or space to sign something off on a regular basis. How do you go about emphasising how important the daily behaviour chart is with such parents and how would you give them access to it?
Hi Bridget...I love your videos. I love how positive you are! Could you post a picture of your behavior wheel? I would love to make one for my classroom.
Wow, I just loved all of your ideas. i am launching a new school in my area and am about to hire teachers. i am working on a program for teacher training. this video is a treasure learning. thank you so much, i am now excited to check your other videos.
Thanks for sharing your expertise with us :) You are so friendly! I am a kindergarten teacher and I am looking for ideas on how to deal with kids who interrupt during circle time. I have a couple of kids who either talk or pock their friends no matter what we do to redirect their attention. Before carpet time, we review the expected behavior, but they still do it. We even told them that if they chose to play when they are not supposed to, they are taking time from their recess away. We talk to them very often, explaining as you said...but these kids are difficult....What do you suggest? Thanks in advance and to any educator who would like to share their strategies.
I am a first year 1st grade teacher. I am interested in following a blog if you have one. Thank you for sharing how you manage your classroom! I love the independence you are instilling in the children and I will be taking this concept into my classroom. As far as awarding behavior goes, what is in your treasure chest, and what are the coupons used for?
I do have a blog! www.TheLetteredClassroom.com - I think you might find a lot of my past videos to be beneficial as well :) My treasure chest typically has random items inside. I usually ask for parents to send in items and I always get kids meal toys or party items that come in bulk. I will even buy some items from the Dollar Tree every once in a while. My coupons vary. I have teacher chair, stinky socks, furry friend, pillow day, hat day, gum, fancy pen, ipad for the day and so on. Good luck! Stay tuned for more videos! :)
I'm an art ed major and heading into student teaching this fall, would this work in a classroom that has different sets of classes coming and going from your room? such as the art room or music room? what suggestions in do you have for rules and procedures for this type of lass setting. thank you for your videos.:)
This video was informative!!! I use the daily 5 and the anchor charts. They have saved me in the beginning of the year. Now that it is getting closer to the end, I always wondered how to deal with tattling and random student behaviors. I love how you redirect it to the student by giving them that think time and allowing them to come back. It has changed my approach because so often I raise my voice but I'm truly not angry at them at all. Sometimes I feel the need to because I want my other students to know I don't allow that specific behavior. Your method will allow me to be calm but firm. Also, I like your idea about how to communicate with parents on behavior with the smiley faces. I currently teach little ones, but next year will be teaching 3rd grade. Do you have any tips or suggestions on how I can communicate their daily behavior to their parents in a more age appropriate way? Your videos are awesome!
+amanda campbell 3rd grade! I did my student teaching there. Really, I most likely wouldn't communicate in that way with parents. We send home something called green folders on a weekly basis and my son has his behavior report there. It's nice because I can see where or not his teacher had to take away his bookworm 'bucks' for behavior. Unless you are having serious issues I would stick to weekly. It's ta that age that they should really start behaving more. I have a video coming on Monday that will give some examples of students behavior slips that I send home if they are having daily issues in class. I hope that helps.
Great video!thank you!! 👍 I'm going into student teaching this month and I'm SOOOO SCARED!! I'll be working with 1st and 4th graders... do you have any behavior managent tips for 4th grade (older kiddos) ?
I love the idea about taking the markers away or having the child go back to their seat! But have you had kiddos in the past who just sit and don't go get their markers & end up not doing their work or just stay seated at their desk the rest of instruction time?
Yes and I send all the work home with a note. I expect it to be completed and of not they sit in the office or with another teacher and miss out on activities.
Perfect, thank you for the quick response. It will be my second year teaching this upcoming year, so it has been great watching your videos to help me reinvent some things in my classroom. :) Kinder is great + I'm loving it!!
Hi there! Im from australia and just starting as a teacher this year on KINDER :):) SOO excited and I have literally gotten more out of your videos then 4 years of university hahaha Just wondering do you have the behaviour wheel anywhere for purchase?? Beth
Yes for the procedures & routines! I have a video on my channel about setting them up as well. Love your beautiful monogram. How long have you been teaching?
Hello, and thanks again for your inspiring videos. I have two questions: Where did you get the rug for morning meetings? And could you recommend some other Vloggers, who inspire you? I follow you and Tina Bietler at the moment. Sincerely Malene
I'm very happy to have found your blogs. I will be teaching my first year in Kindergarten starting September. Did you create the wheel or found it somewhere? I really like that idea and would love to create something for my class.
I'm sorry if someone already asked this question, but the monthly behavior charts are individual correct? So you would put a smiley face on all the kids that had a good day, but only put a note on certain students who had a reoccurring behavior correct? Also, if for example like you said, one child was throwing markets and chose to fix his behavior and did for the rest of the day, would you write down that he threw markets in his chart? Or no since he corrected the behavior?
Yes, every student will receive a smiley face. If I had to give multiple reminders (typically more than 3) for the SAME behavior then I would mark their folder. If the student was only throwing markers once and it did not hurt anyone then I would not mark their behavior log so long as it did no occur with other items (example: throwing pencils or crayons). Remember, they are still learning. Many have not been taught correctly or they are sometimes expected to know these things and let's be honest a lot of them just cannot control their bodies at that age. Unless students are hurting other children or themselves or I had to give multiple warnings then they received a smiley face. Hope this helps.
I love this video, part one and two! They are really helpful. I do have a question, in one of the videos you brought up a scenario where you said if there was a child rolling around and being disruptive, you would ask them to go sit in their seat and let you know when they are ready to behave. And I feel like that would work most the time, but what would you do in a situation where the child told you no, and just wouldn't mind you when you asked them to do something, even if you were calm about it?
This is a great question and it starts at the beginning of the year! By building this relationship early on students will respond to your requests more effectively; I cannot stress that enough, they are not just words! Relationship building is a process that you should start as soon as possible. I had the opportunity this year to meet my incoming students at the end of last year and as part of that 'meet and greet' I asked each of the students to write me a letter over summer vacation. Their responses will tell me a lot about the student and their thinking. I will continue steps like this the moment they come through my door. I want to learn how each student ticks! Now to your point...If the child does not respond then I let them know that I will need to take other measures. For example: Call the parents and have them speak with the child (this would be a time when I get the class busy on a different task while I deal with the situation) or contact your administration. But typically I will not contact administration unless that child is harming themselves or another student. Calling parents nearly always does the trick. For Thursday, I am working on a "Top 10 Tips for the new year" video. I think that this will be a good question to address! Thanks!
I have mixed feelings about not having classroom rules. I like what she said about handling situations as they arise, however, classroom rules are mandatory in our school and is a good visual for students who need that reminder daily.
I'm a student teacher and I am really digging your videos! I am a mature student, I'll be 42 by the time I start, and have two kids of my own. I like this part: you create thinkers, citizens of community, and hard workers. I wish more teachers/classrooms had this approach.
This video was so helpful. I teach Prekindergarten and have been for over 10 years but this last year was rough and I have had some behavioral issues. I found myself just telling them what to do all the time and frustrated that they weren't responding well. I was using treasure box rewards as a way to to encourage them to behave. This video is so helpful for teachers, I liked the way that you put 3 rules in your classroom which is respect teacher, Respect peers, Work hard.
How would you handle physical behaviors? Like a student who pushes or hits other students or even you?

Thank you for your advice on classroom strategies. I am currently at my final year of University and during my work experience i was surrounded around teachers who only relied on sanctions such as rewards which i didn't agree with as it did not stimulate their learning. I will definitely follow these guidelines. Could you please deliver a mini session on confidence in the classroom. Thank you.
The road trip analogy is great! These are all really good ideas. Very helpful. Thank you!
+sarah w great advice! I am definitely a note taker. I have to see it, do it and write it in order to process everything. It helps so much!
I'm in my final semester before student teachings, I really loved this video and I'm going to refer back to it before I get into the classroom , Thank you so much !
I am so glad that you found it informative and useful! Best of luck.
I would love to hear how your few years of teaching has gone for you.
Gaylene Parisien
It’s going really well.
I loved all of her advice. It was very helpful.
Love you so much! Literally the most down to earth person ever!! X
Aww. Thank you so much! That is very kind of you to say!
WOW! I wish you had been my kids teacher you are a saint for sure. I just love the way you think.
+PoliteChoice That is wonderful. Congratulations.
I'm an education major and I found your channel this morning. You are very inspiring and I hope to utilize your advice in my future classroom!
THANK YOU for posting this. I am so grateful because it is alleviating some of my "Day One" anxiety.
And? How did it go? It has been 4 years and I would like to know what happened next ahaha
everything you talked about was so helpful. im so happy i found your channel! I'm learning a lot. Thank you!
This video was so so helpful, I love your approach and how student focused it is. Your form of dealing with behavior really does help students practice problem solving and become a better citizen. Thank you for your ideas, I will definitely keep all these strategies in mind!
Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I did a second Behavior Management video as well if you are interested. Thanks for watching!
I'm about to start school for elementary education and I love your videos! Excellent advice! Keep it up.
Thank you! Best of luck to you.
I too love that she believes children are capable because they all are!
I appreciate you sharing this.........Quality Professional Job !
I'm a trainee teacher in the UK and will be starting my first year of teaching in September. There's been a lot of negativity lately about teaching and I've been so nervous to have my own class but your videos make me so much more excited and help me realise why I decided to be a teacher. Thank you so much!! X
+Zoe Simmons Yay! So glad I was able to give you positive motivation.
Best video ever !!! Teachers need more material like this !!!
As a sub looking to move into a teacher position, this was SOOOO helpful! Thank you so much!
This is great. I want to get rid of rules and the chart, too!!! Do you have a video on what to do when a new student comes when it comes to this?
I LOVE your behavior wheel! Great visual tool. Thanks for sharing!
What do you do when that child wont go back to their chair and take a minute to think , or that wont quit throwing their marker?
Ikr!! And those that always complain that they're tired 😓
Subscribed after 30 seconds of watching this video. I'm so glad I found your channel!
+Lindsey Balducci YAY! So glad you subscribed. Thank you!
Love your video and tips The last time I was in a classroom was when I student taught. Any tips for me as I go into a classroom after 26 years Thank you-Louise
This video was so helpful! Thank you!!
-first year teaching
great video. I look foward to implementing many of these tips in the upcoming school year.
Thank you so much for this video! I`m brazilian and I`m a Dance Teacher at a Public School. This is my first year teaching and it`s been very hard! You just gave me so many GREAT tips and advices. I wish I could skype you to talk even more, but i`m glad I have your videos to help me :)
Please visit my Facebook page Brazilian teachers in the USAThank youClaudia
How would you send out the monthly behaviour chart on a daily basis and involve the parents?
Parents from less affluent households often don't have the internet, nor do they have the time or space to sign something off on a regular basis.
How do you go about emphasising how important the daily behaviour chart is with such parents and how would you give them access to it?
Hi Bridget...I love your videos. I love how positive you are! Could you post a picture of your behavior wheel? I would love to make one for my classroom.
Thank you very much for using your time to make these videos! They are tremendously useful! Keep at it!
Wow, I just loved all of your ideas. i am launching a new school in my area and am about to hire teachers. i am working on a program for teacher training. this video is a treasure learning. thank you so much, i am now excited to check your other videos.
This is amazing approach to a constructivist and student-centered classroom!😍
Thank you for sharing all these wonderful tips. I'm glad that slowly, but surely I am finding some teacher youtuber channels.
May I link to your video for a grant project that I am doing for Texas A&M University, please? If so, how would you prefer it to be cited?
You're a sweet pea! Thank you for your tips. I'm a first time teacher for 2nd and 6th graders. I definetely got some great ideas. Thank you!
Hi, My name is Suzana. I'm an aspiring Early Childhood Educator, your video has been very educational for me. Thank you
I'm an art ed major and heading into student teaching this fall, would this work in a classroom that has different sets of classes coming and going from your room? such as the art room or music room? what suggestions in do you have for rules and procedures for this type of lass setting. thank you for your videos.:)
You are so inspiring and encouraging. I would love to use some of your strategies in the future. Thank you for sharing such helpful content.
Loved this video! You have so much helpful information. Thank you for sharing your ideas!
+The Lettered Classroom thank you!!! Yes, extremely helpful! I will be watching 😌
Hi.....I am a teacher in Malaysia.....your videos helps me a lot.Thanks....and keep up the good work
Thank you so much! I am glad that you are able to get some great information from the videos.
Hi there!
Im from australia and just starting as a teacher this year on KINDER :):) SOO excited and I have literally gotten more out of your videos then 4 years of university hahaha
Just wondering do you have the behaviour wheel anywhere for purchase??
Beth
Wonderful video! As a teacher this was very inspiring!
Yes for the procedures & routines! I have a video on my channel about setting them up as well. Love your beautiful monogram. How long have you been teaching?
Thank you so much. I've been teaching for 4 years.
Hello, and thanks again for your inspiring videos. I have two questions: Where did you get the rug for morning meetings? And could you recommend some other Vloggers, who inspire you? I follow you and Tina Bietler at the moment. Sincerely Malene
+Malene Høybye - check out @toocoolformiddleschool !!
Do you have assistants who help you in the classroom? When do you find the time to do behavior charts?
I'm very happy to have found your blogs. I will be teaching my first year in Kindergarten starting September. Did you create the wheel or found it somewhere? I really like that idea and would love to create something for my class.
How have your first few months been going? I completely missed your comment.
Thank you so much for explaining! Helped a lot! :)
Thanks!
Thanks! I will most certainly use some of your tips : )
This video really helped . Thank you for uploading I will apply these tips in my classroom
I have mixed feelings about not having classroom rules. I like what she said about handling situations as they arise, however, classroom rules are mandatory in our school and is a good visual for students who need that reminder daily.
You are so much on the same wavelength as me when it comes to management! Officially subscribing! 😊
Interesting. When implementing I can see how it will take a long time.
Where did you find your monthly behavior charts? Did you create your own?
Hi!!! thank you for your amazing videos! Is there anyway you could send me how to make a strategies wheel?
