      @@TheDocbach Funny how everyone has different experiences with bosses in games like these. I only got killed twice by Nue but I kept getting killed by Onryoki and Hino-Enma over and over again

      James Stewart i almost give up twice because of onryoki and hino enma because of how hard for me to beat them but once i beat them i went to fight them again and i just beat them easily. Once you get their pattern its more easy to predict when to attack and dodge. But i used the chain weapon when i beat them first.

      Finally, one who understands how was Nioh meant to be played. I am tired of all those overpowered shity builds to break the game killing bosses with a single swing from a kusarigama. Mastering this techniques is the real challenge on Nioh. Try putting some abilities while weapon switching and you will be on the next level. There are some pretty good weapon combos out there...

    The Virgin Living Weapon:
    Uses a meta build
    Only spams one attack
    Needs 16 buffs before a fight
    The Chad Sacredforce:
    Uses all stances
    Knows how to ki-pulse and sheathe attack
    Doesnt rely on buffs

      Dont we also spend hours getting the best build for unlimited LW? (Which it became weaker than before.)
      And grinding countless hour for material and money just to get the best stat in the game?

      You forgot getting into critical state (post-nerf) before the first enemy contact ... then getting knocked out of it due to a stupid mistake followed by a gentle nudge from the weakest and most predictable enemy on the field, die, and blame it fully on the support because the support doesn't take his shit serious with his 0 buffs, "low" damage and his attitute - dancing around enemies avoiding every single hit, paying attention to the surroundings, adapting, countering, ... and so on instead of doing "real" damage.

    I have a question I have a roll on from using anima stones what give me more damage to guard break immune enemies.
    What exactly is a guard break in nioh?
    Is it just attacking until they are out of ki when they human bosses guarding?
    I am trying to figure out if there is any guard break immune enemies in game?

    • @LasttoLoad

      Break stat increases ki damage to enemies who are blocking. its a good stat against enemies who can guard.
      There is a stat later on that is called everlasting ki, it prevent you from being broken when reaching 0 ki by chance base.

    The qucik draw for katanas seems way longer than dual katanas , what about the damage , are katanas still better for that one shot ?

    • @ISacredForceI
      @ISacredForceI 6 лет назад

      Surprisingly, katana seems to be able to deal way more damage than dual katanas due to how long it take to perform a sheath attack. While dual does a double hit, one katana is only on single hit, and can take even longer to charge for more damage.

    I wonder if they will make the circle button do something in Nioh 2. Maybe jump? or parry? Or feint an attack? -Thanks for the video.

    • @LasttoLoad
      @LasttoLoad  5 лет назад

      I would imagine more of a fourth stance like katana/odachi sheathing technique. Circle is usually sheathing weapon, but it could be a new hidden stance for other weapon.

    • @autoremix4798
      @autoremix4798 5 лет назад

      @@LasttoLoad That would be cool. But still, aside from switching stances, pressing circle alone (without pressing r1) doesn't do anything at all right now. I wonder if they'll change that. Personally, I'd be happy if they kept the combat controls exactly the same (they're so good) but added more mechanics like spear's ki pulse attack, tonfa's kannagi dodges, flying monkey or tiger blade jump evasion. An extra button could help with those kinds of things.

    • @LasttoLoad
      @LasttoLoad  5 лет назад +1

      Im guessing its only for interaction/opening chest, but it would be interesting if the circle changes depending if your weapon is sheathed (aka out of combat stance) or not.
      If sheathed, circle button work as interaction with npc and environment.
      If unsheathed, might be something for yokai power or jump basically.
      Really there is so much more to add in nioh control scheme. Some weapon have buttons input that other weapon dont. I do hope there will be a variety of it.

      You have to do this in order: ki pulse (R1) -> switch stance (flux) -> switch weapon. Hold R1 while doing all of this process.
      For easier way (without flux), first ki pulse with circle (O), then switch weapon.

    • @tomlong7619

      For example, I usually use my whole thumb to press from triangle (tip of the thumb) to square and X (bottom of my thumb) for switching stance instantly. You will learn how to use your whole thumb in any other order for switching stance by playing with your thumb (by sliding or pressing).

    • @LasttoLoad
      @LasttoLoad  5 лет назад

      Only in low stance dodge and mid stance first dodge, you will be side stepping left or right. If you dodge forward, its mostly a dash animation (while in high stance, its rolling)
      In special case with spear and katana, they have different side dodge will faster and smaller range. But, its still work the same as that "dash animation". So other weapon except spear and katana will have that "dash animation" instead.
      Its a weird design, but its still the same thing.

    I just got this game in a steam sale, and I’m in love with it.
    I thought I was getting the hang of it, using all the stances, but then I see this...
    I don’t even.
    I can manage performing some attacks, then dodging or a move the gives some space, and switching stances to perform another move.
    On a good day I can manage switching stances between attacks without needing the extra time and space to think.
    How on earth can you add extra button presses before you dodge without getting hit all the time?
    I always played fast characters in the souls games. I’m pretty good at dodging, and am becoming so in Nioh as I get used to the rhythm of various weapons.
    I can’t comprehend committing to an attack, then realizing you need to move ASAP or get hit... and somehow having time for extra button presses.
    Given how close the calls can be, I don’t get it.
    I’ve learned to block in mid and dodge in low, and to switch to high when I have time to punish. I simply cannot see the time for swapping between the two on the fly every time I need to do one or the other.

    • @LasttoLoad
      @LasttoLoad  5 лет назад +4

      Whenever you start to attack, you will need to consider recovering your ki in order to maintain your ki so that you dont run yourself low on ki (such as out of ki situation). Sometimes, even if you can see yourself dealing as much damage as possible (in the most stricted opening), you may want to replace your 3rd quick attack for ki pulse+double flux. You will have to exchange between attacking and ki recovering at some point.
      I dont know how possible it is to add all of these input with m/k but, with a controller, you can use your whole thumb to press from high to low stance or slide your thumb between buttons.
      On a side note, knowing your enemy attack pattern helps a lot when you need to recover and stay back.
